Bengaluru City University PhD Admission 2026-27 Begins @bcu.ac.in; Apply by March 18

Bengaluru City University has invited applications for admission to its PhD programmes for the academic session 2026-27. Interested and eligible candidates can apply in both full-time and part-time modes through the official website. The last date to submit the application form without a fine is March 18, 2026, while candidates can apply till March 25, 2026, with a late fee of ₹200.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree from a recognised institution with at least 55% marks. The university will conduct an entrance test of 120 minutes duration consisting of research methodology and subject-specific questions. Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR JRF, NET, K-SLET, GATE and other national fellowships are exempted from the entrance test.

The final selection will be based on performance in the entrance test and interview. The consolidated merit list will be prepared in a 50:50 ratio, considering entrance test scores and qualifying examination marks.
