- The library is quite clean and good . the canteen food is also nice
- In this college i most liked is teacher they are so sweet and polite they answer you of every question.
- The college provides various scholarships like the kanyashree, swami vivekananda scholarship and many more.
Dislikes
- Excess departments and many department are not so good just science departments are extraordinary moreover all the departments are average
- Library doesn't provide any books to specific department students I don't know why. But there is no current books for students, maximum books are outdated.
- No placement No internship opportunities, it's just a degree based college does not provide any extra for students

Course Curriculum Overview:
Help is always available, everyone in our department helps. But classes are compulsory and there are advanced science labs. The fees for science are less than other colleges.But Calcutta University is a little late in giving results and also gives low marks.

- Management is nice. They will help out students looking for scholarship. The female students are eligible for government scholarships, no matter what economic background they come from.
- College environment is peaceful. There's no unnecessary fights or quarrels going on over unions.
- Professors are friendly and help you out everytime you need them.
Dislikes
- Class schedule could be better. The classes are also quite irregular.
- there are not many events which helps students bond, like field studies or events.
- The library should have more books. Also the borrowing process should be easier.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum, or at least the curriculam for UG history, all throughout 6 semesters, covers the entire period of history, from the Harappa Mohenjodaro civillization to The Cold War era. It helps students create a mind map of all the things that shaped modern humans and their actions.
The curriculam is excellent for students preparing for further specialised studies and govedrnment exams like UPSC.
But one thing it should include is the space to give student develop theories of their own, rather than studying in the linear process.
There are exams almost 4-5 months so it's a bit difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I think Maulana Azad college is one of the best colleges special in my subject BA POLITICAL SCIENCE HONORS, the teachers are very good and highly qualified. The environment of my college is very good. But there are some timing issues for the classes.

Ifelt interesting to know about past and history is very interesting subject, the curriculum they follow is very challenging and authentic ,interesting as well and the faculty are very knowledgeable you ask any problem and they are ready to solve

- firstly i like the behaviour of the teachers they are helpful for students
- i meet some senior students of the college they are very kind and ready to help juniors in any kind of issues like providing notes
- a poor student can easily study there with a small amount of fess
Dislikes
- At the time of admission there was two student unions group they dont like each other
- the college area is big but a small campus/playground
- classes of all departments are big and good but for persian general there was a small class

i wanted to do urdu honours but i decided to do persian general course due to some marks issues
faculty ratio of my course is 4:60
MA phd
6 month gap for exams and its difficult to pass in calcutta university for those who not study very well
