Pros and cons regarding GIT college

Likes

The campus of our college is quite big and good. As we have lots of trees
The faculty members are experts in their respective subjects
The placement of our college is nice as compared to the other colleges present in belgavi district.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not at all good.
The cost of the hostel is more so most of the students will prefer pgs..
The mess food which they give in hostel mess is not good.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from 6th semester for placements... More number of companies visit our campus and we have a good and decent placement here... The company like PALO ALTO NETWORK gave the highest salary of 45lpa for 2023 batch CSE students...

A DETAILED REVIEW OF GIT COLLEGE AND HOSTEL

Likes

Our college is situated in north karnataka, So who don't want to study in Bangalore can consider our college.
There is no raging in our college let it be hostel or college campus. Infact seniors are kind and helpful here.
Hostel facility are also good. There are 6-7 messes or canteens around college area and 1 in our boys hostel too.

Dislikes

The college campus may not look attractive or morden to some people.
Their is no hot water facility in boy's hostel.
There is no filter water or RO water and WI-FI facility in the newly constructed 3 floor of boys hostel till now.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem it self the students become eligible for campus placements and the popular companies like Samsung, Visteon, tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Asian paints and etc will be making offers. I think it is 800-900 offers this year till now and in the last year it was 1200. The highest package for M.tech degree student was 20+ LPA this year by Samsung and for B.tech it was 16 LPA and average package is 6 lpa.

Campus is very beautiful the weather is good .
Faculty members are good they very supportive
Placement is good as compared to other pvt colleges

Dislikes

College is very small in terms of area and size
Exam papers are little difficult as compared to vtu papers
The canteen in the college is bad we have eat outside of campus

Placement Experience:

After 6 sem we are eligible for campus there are many companies visited out of 180 members in mechanical 120 students get placed and offer latter the highest package was 12 for mechanical 80% of students get placed in the college I will also try for campus placement for better company

Hanging out place in got college is food
Many food stalls are provided in college
Parking for vehicle is provided by college

Dislikes

Attendance is compulsory in the college campus
There is not teacher student bond in the campus
There is not badminton court in the court

Placement Experience:

I plan to be placed from the college but if i am not placed im goona persue mba and then later get a job and get 2 years of experience and then start something on my own i want to practice in an industry

Best College in Belgaum for industry oriented learning

Likes

Skill and industry oriented Labs in all courses
Placements at the campus are very good and highly paid.
Faculty is very supportive and dedicated.

Dislikes

Less scholarships for General merit students.
Some of the clubs have paid membership for students.
Gym is not good,all the components are broken.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. Companies like TCS Wipro, Palo-Alto and Benz visit campus for placements. Highest package was 58 LPA by Palo Alto to 5 students from CSE and ISE branch. Average was around 10-12LPA. Most of the students from CSE,ISE,ECE and EEE get placed through campus placements. Remaining students go for higher studies and others for startups.

About my engineering college and campus

Likes

The campus is full of trees and green environment
For sports in my college give preferences
Very good and big library and availability of all types of books

Dislikes

The some teachers teaching is not good they simply come read and go
In our college one sem is finished in 3 to 4 months
There is less opportunities for civil branch students in placements

Placement Experience:

There is availability of campus jobs in our college from 6th sem onwards students become eligible for campus placements The highest package is around 58 lakh per annum and the average package is around 7 to 8 lakh.

The best College for engineering in belagavi

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be a pilot since childhood so I choose aeronautical engineering as my course!! Here in GIT, all facilities regarding the aeronautical branch are well!! Git is an autonomous college!! So all syllabi and papers everything is set by college faculty do they frame question papers as medium ..not so easy and not so difficult....people usually think that autonomous papers are too easy but no it's not true in git!!

One of the best collage to get addmission in karnataka.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements . many companies visited this year like mercedes benz, infosis, redbus, felabela, TCS, samsung etc. alomost 100% of computer science got placed this year. Higgest package this year was 23.5 lakhs by samsung and the average packages are around 5-6 lakhs.
