A DETAILED REVIEW OF GIT COLLEGE AND HOSTEL

I have opted for CSE Course (computer science engineering) in GIT college. The placements and opportunities for this branch in git is best.The packages for those who are in this branch is also good (about 12 LPA). Your attandance, results and you profile is all shown online in college web site. They conduct 3 exams per semester IA -1(Internal assessment 1 ) this will be a exam of easy level. IA-2 this will of difficulty level moderately high level And finally the sem end exam with the difficulty level of hard All the exams will have the gap of about 2 months and the calander of events for the perticular sem will be posted on college web site every year.

GIT provide good internship opportunities. Since I am still in 1 St year so I don't know more about that.According to the seniors they have to do a internship before getting into campus selection. The 4th year students have to do a project in both group and individual.

From 7th sem it self the students become eligible for campus placements and the popular companies like Samsung, Visteon, tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Asian paints and etc will be making offers. I think it is 800-900 offers this year till now and in the last year it was 1200. The highest package for M.tech degree student was 20+ LPA this year by Samsung and for B.tech it was 16 LPA and average package is 6 lpa.

I have come to this college writingK-CET exam and my rank was 8700. The fees for those who come from K-CET is 96000 + 20000 =1.16 lakhs for GM catagory. The hostel + food costs 60000 per year. Overall for one year it will costs about 2 lakhs. The students can take educational loan and also get the scholarship.

Their are many events being held every year at different times but the AURA is the event for which college will spend too much and make it grand.This year Shreya Ghoshal performed in AURA. AURA is a 4 day event which is held around August every year at GIT. The facilities provided in the college are good we get a projector for every class and most of the labs are Air conditioned with the fast computers and clean environment.And on the roof of the college building's solar panels are installed so, you can't face any problem with electricity cut off in both hostel and college. The library is well maintained and full of infomative books in multiple copies. The college also encourages sports and technical events. Their are many clubs you can join based on your interest.

Their are two types of rooms for us(2023 batch )they have given newly constructed rooms of 3 sharing which are well maintained and clean and furnished with a table, a chair and a bed for each person. The food is quite good Registration process for hostel is after admission and the hostel fees is 30k

If you come from K-CET you require some documents for the admission which will be informed to you but it is better to call the college and ask once before coming for admission. It is better to visit the college before going for option entry. The cut-off for GM CATAGORY in 2023 was 8000 rank in first round and it went to 9000 in second and third round in K-CET For comed-k I am not sure about it but I think it was about 20-30k in ComedK.

The faculties are very well experienced. The faculties to students ratio is 60 . The teaching methods includes chalk and talk, presentation, seminar by the students and also projects. The faculties are helpful to students.
