Not much more a burden for the parents to pay this and every type of scholarship is available here which is best .
I liked some helpful and very good teachers, they really help in exams like giving selection
Eligibility was based on jee rank , reservation were made accordingly, the environment is quite competitive, faculties are student friendly and helpful towards others .

Dislikes

Placement facility is very very bad highest in campus package is rarely 6-7 lakh only known company came here is tata power with 6.1lpa package.
The hostel mess is very bad and they are not provide good food.
Placement is very average in our college they provide no internship

Likes

Clubs are very productive, students get involved and learn many new things
Campus Life is average as compared all other colleges
Fees affordability,fees is lesser than the other private colleges

Dislikes

Placements are not as expected the average package is of 3Lpa
Public transport isn't available after 6pm
Taste of mess food is just average and isn't that good

Likes

College fees which is affordable for every student
Scholarships for needy one as it is a government aided institution
College life is very much professional here and College support

Dislikes

Campus location far away the berhampur that is 12km away
Transportation cost is higher in behrampur
Boy to girl ratio is less in our college

It is a professional course and you can be prepared for the future world, it conducts 08 semesters in 4 years for every year 02 semester and each exam of 100 external and 50 internal...in total of 150 marks of 5-6 subjects in each semester

Life in PARALA MAHARAJA ENGINEERING COLLEGE BERHAMPUR

Likes

Fees affordability.... Here tution fees is very less compared to other private colleges.
Government Institute has many financial assistance in form of scholarships.
Hostel facility well maintain hostels, hygiene and variety in food.

Dislikes

Clubs : some of the clubs aren't active or works very lesss
Campus location, Far away from the Berhampur city.
Transportation facilities... No public transport after the evening.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a professional course, I am admitted to CSE branch. It is good branch here, everything is well organized and planned. We have 08 semesters in total i.e is 02 semesters each year for 4years. Semesters have a total marks of 100 i.e external and 50 as internal marks.... in total we have 150 marks for each subject and have 5-6 subjects each semester.

I like our college campus and environment
I like faculty and assistant professor, principle

Our college placement is best , 60 out of 100 students are place of respective branches,it depends on the skill and hard work of students, average package is 300000 and highest is 800000 per annum , tata, TCL and many more. Companies come in our college,

Our college placements are pretty good not going to lie,from seventh and eighth semester, students are more than eligible for campus placements,the highest offered here is twelve lakh per annum and the average package offered is three lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

Our college is rewoned for its excellent placement and it is showing in growth side . The placement rate is 85 percent in this year 2023 . Maximum students are placed in cse branch and among them two students bagged highest package of 33 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 3.5 laks per annum

A review on Parala Maharaja Engineering College

Good college campus. Its so greenary and Ecofriendly.
Good classroom and labs are so well designed.
Sports complex , hostel gym , good badminton court.

Dislikes

Uncleaned bathroom, repairing services are not regular in gostel
And so many things are present which i didn't like those things.
No wifi, no washing machine, no such big extra curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is so less and average not so good. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. My plan is settle in a software job after completion of degree. Percentage of students getting placements is so less.

The environment is very good.The seniors are very cooperative they guide the juniors how to study for 4 years.

Dislikes

I think the college is too away from the town it is around 5-6 km away from the city.

Placement Experience:

Form the 3rd year only the students are eligible for campus placement and many of them got placed because of the experienced teachers who guide how to clear an interview.companies like tata, Infosys, Amazon,etc. The highest package of this year is 15lpa and average is 4lpa. Around 60% students getting placements.After the degree I would do mtech.

Good environment:nice pollution free and green environment
Skilled teachers: Helpful in teaching hard concepts
Cooperative students: everyone here is cooperative

Packed time table in college, hard to manage time
Food quality might have been better in mess
Not much scope for sports or other activities

The placement rate is quite low in this college. You may be eligible for placements from 6th or 7th semester onwards. The average package remains around 4-5 lakhs per annum but some students may get high placements. So work hard and earn success.

Likes

I like sports facilities. Here a lot of students are getting opportunities to play their favorite games.
Campus is big. It is around 200 acres area.
It is nearer to the city and transportation is available.

Dislikes

Campus placements are descent but they can be improved
Less amounts of technical equipments are there.
City is near but time availability of transportation is an issue

Placement Experience:

Placements are descent. Many companies are coming like cognizant, tata, etc. 3rd semester are eligible for placements. Highest package of last year is 18 lpa and average is 4.2 lpa. Many students are getting opportunities to get jobs
