Likes

I like sports facilities. Here a lot of students are getting opportunities to play their favorite games.
Campus is big. It is around 200 acres area.
It is nearer to the city and transportation is available.

Dislikes

Campus placements are descent but they can be improved
Less amounts of technical equipments are there.
City is near but time availability of transportation is an issue

Course Curriculum Overview

I like computers and programming, so I choose it. It is very relevant with real world problems. It is preparing well. More practical should be there to improve the course. Teaching methods are best. Exams difficulty level is moderate

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are very much limited. Very few companies are giving internship to students. They are recruiting very few students for their projects in computer applications and very few of those.

Placement Experience

Placements are descent. Many companies are coming like cognizant, tata, etc. 3rd semester are eligible for placements. Highest package of last year is 18 lpa and average is 4.2 lpa. Many students are getting opportunities to get jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

In this government college, tuition fees are not very much. Complete course is around 4 lakhs with hostel and mess facilities. Post matric scholarship, kalia scholarships are available. People are responsible here

Campus Life

Fest like exuberance and kriti are organizing and after all 4 monts fests are happening. Varied range of books and journals available. Facilities within class room are good. Sports and extra activities are happening. Many numbers of clubs are present

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are big and good facilities are available. Meal quality is descent and menu is good. Registration process is very easy. I am in hostel. Feeling good in hostel. Affordable and sanitized hostel. Daily cleaning is happening

Admission

For admission you must have appear JEE or OJEE. Then apply through ojee counseling. If you are eligible for any course then you will be selected for respective course. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates from ojee website. You will also get the details of reservation benefits from ojee website. The difficulty level is very high. Ojee counseling can improve in the admission process by making it easier for students to apply

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
