What Students Say

Likes

Good college campus. Its so greenary and Ecofriendly.
Good classroom and labs are so well designed.
Sports complex , hostel gym , good badminton court.

Dislikes

Uncleaned bathroom, repairing services are not regular in gostel
And so many things are present which i didn't like those things.
No wifi, no washing machine, no such big extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

As for good carrier and good placement scenario.. As choosed this branch. The colleges extra curriculums induces and promots this branch more. The frequency and timing of exams are so disciplinary and held regularly.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 29900 per year

Internships Opportunities

Infosys, tata, mahindra, infosystem, kcl etc Automobile and Robostreak clubs are made so many great projects. There is no such big companies are coming to our college. And the placement scenario is very poor.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is so less and average not so good. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. My plan is settle in a software job after completion of degree. Percentage of students getting placements is so less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee 12000/- The complete course cost for 1st year is 39900. Post matric scholarship 20000/- Nirman Shramik yojna 60000/- Kalia yojna -40000/- Not undertaken any employment in campus. Ncc students will got Stippened.

Campus Life

Tech fest, shaurya, art exhibition, sports competition. The college is so average in extra curricular activities. There are so many clubs are present in omec. Like Cdd, Imagics , sanskriti, darbar etc

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are 3 membered rooms. One bed, table, chair, cupboard per student. The meal quality is so poor. There is no variation in menu card of mess. There are 2 separate accounts are present for.. One for hostel rent and mess fee.

Hostel Fee: INR 47000 per year

Admission

Through jee mains and ojee councelling.. Under the rank of 2 lakh u can get a seat in cse branch of this college. Others like etc, electrical, mechanical and automobile branches are situated in this college

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
