JAGSOM Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

The term is 3 months, and in each term there are two main exams, a continuous class test, and assignments are ongoing. Curriculum includes industry projects and an intership to enable students to be real world.

JAGSoM follows a continuous employability approach. As of now I can say final placements have just started and I have witnessed Classic of legends and Aditya birla group. The average placement in our college is around 11-12 lpa for marketing and 10-11 lpa for finance not sure about other courses.

The curriculum was very different as it includes career track which includes deep specilaization into the majors of MBA. This includes T Shape curriculum which is very different from other B Schools. This includes transforming a person into a leaders who can shape the future.

The specific thing that influenced me to opt for this course is the practical aspect of the course. Curriculum prepares me very well for the real world applications of further academic persuits as it have 50 50 percent of practical and theory. The areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods is the thery part which can be more alligned to corporates' culture and demands. Midterm and Endterm happen every quarter with not much difficult level and can be attendand with mid level of preparation.

We have record of 100% placement record in every year. From 5th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies visited our college: Oracle, Aditya Birla, Federal Bank, Hexware, Wow Momo, Toyota, OLA, Swiggy. Highest placement : 82LPA Average placement: 13.3LPA Percentage of students getting placements: 100% My plan is to be a territory manager after getting the degree.

Overall placement is good, the average package is around 10 lac. The placement season usually starts in January month and ends in April month. Companies like Genpact, Schinder eletric, and wipro come in campus to recruit.

Which means They start with a vast area of knowledge and as students move forward for their majors, it is conducted accordig to the career track of the students. This career track is for the benefit odf the students as they will be prepared before hand and be job ready for the market
