Affordable and worth the money for education

Likes

The academic is really strong. The curriculum is followed thoroughly.
The teaching staff is really understanding, kind and good at the subject matter
It's a girl college. So the ratio is only girls. With respect to staff there is a ratio of 10:1 in female and male teacher.

Dislikes

The campus size is really small. Which leads to Chaos and noise when crowded.
The exam schedule is not feasible. You might end up giving two internal tests in a single day with only a half an hour break.
The infrastructure can be better if the college. Though amenities are available but things can be a lot better.

Placement Experience:

There is no specific placement for the bsc. Psychology course since a lot of students go for further studies such as masters in psychology. The placement offers service and administrative roles for students who wish to. The placements are not very good as most students join the college for the strong academic base for further studies. I myself plan to get a masters degree in psychology.

Likes

Faculty and their support for learning and attended extra activities is great
The notes given and assignments and projects are all very valid and useful
The clubs and extra activities do push you to be better

Dislikes

The teachers do force upon the attendence and studying
The canteen is not that great but it being in malleshwaram we expect more
The infrastructure doesn't hold the current capacity effectively

Course Curriculum Overview:

MLAC is known for its teaching and that was very evident. There was 24/7 anytime contact with the teachers and faculty whenever needed. I choose this course purely based on my interest irrespective of the college. For each paper, there are 3 lecturers each ( if their strength is more) and for psychology overall there are 3 lecturers. Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. and NET graduates and are passionate about their subject. Previously the 2 internals were gaped a month and a half from the beginning of the semester and lastly the sem end exam. Now they have 1 internal, a month before the sem-end exam. The exams are pretty tough but passable.

ITS MY TRUE EXPERIENCE THAN A HONEST REVIEW !

Placement Experience:

Since I have not undergone this campus selection process, I might not be able to give much and accurate information about this, but can tell about what my friends have gone through, to the best of my knowledge. The students of final year are generally eligible for the campus recruitments here. Before undergoing the process, they are given special training on how to attend the interviews or group discussions and are well informed about the major expectations from the respective companies. Eminent companies like INFOSYS, TCS, ACCENTURE ETC., offer jobs on campus and around 20%of the recruitments are finalized. Many students from science background generally do not opt for the campus selections as they prefer higher education. I too considered higher studies as my priority over campus recruitments. As a result, currently I am pursuing MSc in Clinical Psychology in University Of Mysore.
