Likes

The faculty members are really supportive.
There are different clubs like NSS, NCC, etc.
It's a complete women's college soo facilities are clean and neet

Dislikes

There is no ground in the college and no proper places to sit .
Classes are less and need to wait for class to get free for our sessions.
Canteen is not big and no proper arrangements to sit and eat.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is decided by Bangalore City University and our college being autonomous but affiliated to banglore city University. Our curriculum was based on them, but it could be altered 20 percent by our faculty. Exam timings were for theory 3 hrs for practical 4 hours.

Since it is a women's college there is safety for women and teachers are very supportive and cooperative
For every student without any extra fee industrial skill are provided like tally , MS excel,data analytics
Placement and internship opportunities are provided

Dislikes

Campus is not so good and events information are not provided properly
Irregularities of office staff like always eating lunch
Some staff are not available at the time of some work is to be done we only have to run around them

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the students are eligible for placement.the companies visited were Capgemini Accenture, Deloitte,EY,dell and Tally ERP,SAP. The highest package is 3LPA .most of the time 80 to 90 percent of students get placed. Mine is to continue my CA journey

Nothing more negatives we can say about that college

I chose the course not because of college first of all but once we entered that college we will start to learn more and we will learn more then other universities students because of their strictness we will only start to learn more

Life in mLAC

Likes

The faculties are experienced and supportive and also they encourage extra curricular activities.
Clg provides variety in courses for PU, UG and PG students including Industrial visits and inter college competition from each department.

Dislikes

If students are opting mLAC for professional courses like CA, ACCA along with normal bcom , note that the clg doesn't give any damn special care. Along with professional the burden of regular courses need to be handled by students themselves
Some faculties pressurize students to join clubs and take part in certain events in return for internal marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is specialization in Bocm who are interested in opting CA. Yeshas Academy provides coaching for CA foundation in college from morning 6:45 to 11am and the students limited to opt for this course are around 30 members. The college and the faculties do not provide any relaxation for Bcom (A&F) just because the students opt for professional. But ensure to give a month or 20 days of leave before the foundation exam. The intermediate and final classes r taken during early morning from 7 to 12 or sometimes 1 till the afternoon in yeshas branch and the bcom classes must be attended during afternoon or evening.

Placement Experience:

From last semester... placement will get started. Almost 75% people get placed here ...and left over people are aiming to further studies. Highest salary package is 400000 and lowest is 200000. Cognizant. Biocon like companies visit here.

Best college for womens

Likes

from the begining of the admission till the last date they college took a lot of care.
the teachers were very supportive , oppurtunities provided a women
motivation through varios resource persons and job oppurtunities

Dislikes

i did not like the canteen facility and they are trying to improve
well there is no uniform for the degree bsc students
canteen area is not that good and big , need a sufficient area for the canteen

Placement Experience:

90% of students are placed with highest package that is INR 80,000 and the lowest package is 40,000. they provide placement with big companies like amazon wipro , accenture abd for bsc nova nordisc etc. they have 3 rounds to get selected.

Faculty and their support for learning and attended extra activities is great
The notes given and assignments and projects are all very valid and useful
The clubs and extra activities do push you to be better

Dislikes

The teachers do force upon the attendence and studying
The canteen is not that great but it being in malleshwaram we expect more
The infrastructure doesn't hold the current capacity effectively

Course Curriculum Overview:

MLAC is known for its teaching and that was very evident. There was 24/7 anytime contact with the teachers and faculty whenever needed. I choose this course purely based on my interest irrespective of the college. For each paper, there are 3 lecturers each ( if their strength is more) and for psychology overall there are 3 lecturers. Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. and NET graduates and are passionate about their subject. Previously the 2 internals were gaped a month and a half from the beginning of the semester and lastly the sem end exam. Now they have 1 internal, a month before the sem-end exam. The exams are pretty tough but passable.

College life and our favourite place was Student lounge
Faculties were very friendly
There is a good Placement with top companies

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered. There are many companies that are tied up with the college such as Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS and many more. From the final year students are eligible for placements. Before the placements, pre-placement training is also given which was very very useful for us to get placed in top companies. There are around 90% placements.
