A must read before applying

Likes

The quality of the lectures and non teaching staff
The ratio of boys is low as compared to girls it is 850/1000 girls

Dislikes

The quality of the infrastructure and roads to college
The facilities for the students and non teaching staff

Fees and Financial Aid:

Semester fees 8750 2 semesters in one year 17500/year It is a government run college so the fees are all affordable and the quality of the lectures are excellent. But when it comes to scholarship it's a bit low as it is a government run college.

This is what about my College.

Likes

Teaching and the college environment. There are many lectures that are well aware about their subjects which makes students to catch up
Talking about the college environment, it's comparably great.

Dislikes

Our college should actually have their own cantine where students can come and spend their off periods without going somewhere else to chill.
If only there was a lot of trees. I personally love to sit under it's shed.

I'm a recent graduate from Baptist College Kohima. My college has been the best in terms of teaching, infrastructure and many more college facilities. When it comes to course fee, it's affordable for people like me coming from village. Also when we talk about scholarships, we get it twice a year but less the amount.

The Old but Gold kohima College

Likes

The college has good environment and is very adaptable
The college is really spacious and neat and clean

Dislikes

I dislike the condition of the roads on the way to college
I dislike how rules are made by authorities but not followed accordingly

College fees per semester is 5000 so in a year we pay 10000 in a year.All the uniform charge,bus fee and tuition fee are added to the college fees. All the fees are same for all categories. We get maximum 4000 as our scholarship

Due to loose rules, students don't often care about anything

Affordability - The fees for the whole year is very budget friendly and good for those that cannot afford to go to expensive colleges for further studies
Location - The college is located in a quite area and us surrounded by greenery. It has a peaceful environment

Dislikes

Campus - The college campus is very small and there is barely any open space.
Tribalism - The students of the college involves too much into tribalism during election of students council body which I highly condemn.

Admission Fees per odd semester ?5,560 Admission Fees per even semester ?4,560 Total admission fees per year- ?10,120 No monthly tuition fees since it is a government college. The fee structure is the same for all categories. Financial aid is available for those in need. Certificates and cash is provided to those that do exceptionally well in academics. The amount ranges from ?5,000-?30,000.

Likes

The location of the college, situated in the side of the main Town it's quite and peaceful
The friendly nature of the teachers and their effortless teaching

Dislikes

The unavailibity of sufficient college buses for the students
Limited exposure trips and extracurricular activities

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual fee for the college is only around 10000 and there are a cell created for financial help to the needy and the students struggling financially. The scholarship which the students can avail is under the Ministry of tribal affairs

Kohima college kohima teacher are friendly and welcoming
Kohima has pleasant environment and enough compound

Dislikes

First one is no proper facilities like fan and projector
The time table of kohima college is very time consuming.

Fees and Financial Aid:

20000 per year in our college which varies from department to department. 50000 hostel fees per year, with packet momey of 1000 per month. 3000 scholarship per installment. Batchmates fees 12000 or more than 13000.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Normally, fee increases by 5% max and is quite affordable. Each semester does not exceed 10K and it includes all the fees for the curriculum. Scholarships can be applied for the course ranging from 13K for students who scored 69% and below and 15-18K for those students who scored 70% in their 10+2 and also in their semester exam. That Students who want to avail a computer course can also take it as it is available within the college premises with a fee of 2K or free depending on the availability.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Compared to other colleges in Nagaland Kohima college is one of the cheapest colleges since it is funded by the government of Nagaland, and it was basically founded for the poor and struggling students. Students can avail the post-matric scholarship with the endowed criteria
