JEC Jabalpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th sem, students take part in placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cap Gemini, Oxygen, L&T, Accenture etc. visit the college. Overall 10-15 companies visit every year. For IP, only IT companies and consultancy companies visit the most. Out of 90 approx 30% get placed usually but exceptions are there as per the situations like recession or covid. The IT companies recruit in bulk and another hire specific no. and branch. The highest was offered 8 lakh. There is NCC unit MP4CTR so anyone trying to CDS and other defence services can take an opportunity from there. Also, there is an encouragement given for GATE and free lectures are arranged by experts for the needfuls. I had planned for higher studies and thus started doing MTech from NIT Kurukshetra.

Placements in college are quite good if we compare them with other similar state government engineering colleges. It has a separate TPO (training and placement office) cell which helps students in their placements. Some quite good companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest being 11 LPA. Core competencies the lowest 3.5 LPA salary offered in IT sector companies. Reliance, LNT, Infosys were the top recruiters. Every year students go for internships in BHEL NTPC etc. Companies ( around 30%) Other 70% students go for local transmission plant as the internship is compulsory for everyone. Students organize cultural activities.

Almost 30 students from our batch got placements, and almost 50 students from our senior batch got placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. Our college students are attending campus placements. There is a placement cell. But less number of students take part to prove themselves. However, nowadays, our college organises many programmes and events. Many companies visited our college for placements. Many students are hired by the company.

4th-year student eligible for campus placement there are many companies visit in our college like Wipro taxes and many students are placed about 60-70% students placed from CS and IT branches and about 20-30% students placed from core branches I decided to be IAF officer but I also tried for placement.

7th sem you become eligible for the campus. Wipro Infosys pie Infocom Deloitte Goldman Sach Hero TCS helix Sagar limited Offers is of 4 to 4.5 lakhs. Highest is 6.5 lakhs and the lowest is 3.6lakhs above 6.5. I got selected in LnT and Infosys so will join them.

the college has a good infrastructure, first-year hostels are good and maintained. classes of 1st year are in main building complete ac. The popular hostel is Paari and Kaari block. You are not allowed to exit the hostel after 10 PM but in case of any medical emergency, you are allowed to go to the nearest (SRM hospital) which is open 24/7 for everyone.

Most of the placement in JEC is for students from CSE, IT And ECE department. Students from other branches also sit for placement of Tech Giants like TCS, WIPRO and other Companies. Average package here is around 4 lakhs and the maximum package was 13 lakh. Most of the students of CSE and they were placed. I wish to get a job in government sectors like railways or bank.

In computer science and informational technology courses approximately 90% of student get placed in different companies also in government sector and in private sector. Also our college is top 2nd college of madhya pradesh. Mostly companies visit in our college are TCS, WIPRO, MICROSOFT, RELIANCE ,INFOSYS, MU-SIGMA, BIRLA CEMENT and many more private and govt companies. The placement in this college was good. Averg. Package was about 3-4 lakhs and maximum package was about 20 lakhs. 90 %placement

When we come to talk about placement percentage, college have best placement percentage in compare to every other colleges of mpdte. Companies like Wipro, Infotech even visit in campus for placements.If you are capable then you can even get the package of approx 30 lakh easily but in general case, average package is about 7-8 lakh .
