There is a college fest like aavahan which is a sports fest and there are several clubs in college too which give a boost to students for performing their best in college and enjoy.
Yes, thare are scholarship opportunities for many students of obc sc and st categories.
Faculties are good here, they are kind, helpful and way of teaching is very nice.

Dislikes

Worst part of college is that no placement are being done companies are not visiting college
Admission process is simple but you may face problems in some situations.
Only few students got hostels and hostels conditions are not good

My Experiences about JEC

Likes

It is a government autonomous college so my degree's credibility would be high as compared to private colleges.
A very reputed and old college so all the things are stable and management is very well organised.
College is near to my hometown (katni). So I am able to do up-down daily. So it's very convenient for me.

Dislikes

Placements are not available for each core branch, only IT mass recruiters are hiring so no scope for students who wanna go into his core field.
Little scope for inventions, if you are very much interested in research field then this college is not for you.
In some branches most of the faculties are temporary.

Placement Experience:

I am not interested in placements. As I have decided to go for masters (MBA). So I am having a less idea of placement stats. But yeah, as I have heard our college provides an average placement of 4-5 lpa provided by the mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Placement of our college is very good and the return of investment is very good

In hostel boys are not interested in reading

The curriculum of our college is very good and easy. I choose btech in computer science and engineering because I want a software engineer. faculty : student ratio is 1:3. Exams are very easy and after 4 months exams are taken

Sports event is amazing all the branches compete with each other for the trophy

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Any opportunities are given to the students based on their qualifications. If students are not into placement then their plan is to qualify for GATE. It is a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for admission to the masters.

JEC jabalpur campus is so good every department has gardon
Faculty in mechanical engineering department is to good
Placement of CSE and IT and ece branch is good

Dislikes

Placement for core branches is not a good very poor but almost 30% student get job

Placement Experience:

6th and 8th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS and etc. So many companies visited here. The highest package is 12 lakh to 25 lakh and the average package is 3 lakh to 5 lakh. CSE branch 80% of students get placement

Hostel room is very good and campus of our college is very good
Return of investment is very good in our college
Placement of our college is very very good.

Dislikes

Bathroom of our hostel is dirty and unclean
Buidings of our college is very good but old
Civil and Mechanical building are very old

The faculty of our college is very good and the curriculum is followed by rgpv society. I want to become a software engineer so I took computer science and engineering. Exams are not easy or tough. The ratio of faculty: to students is 1:40.

JEC - Eye opener

Likes

I liked most is the open campus, no restriction in roaming anywahere
In my college there is least attendance required
Identify cards are required only for library purpose

Dislikes

Animals in the college are threat to students
The seniors are least involved in any activities
The college is messy on the other side .

BRIEF OF JEC

Likes

The campus is very good and well maintained for students.
Good Library which allows free wifi access for students to watch online lectures for their preperation and nice books variety is available
Supportive faculty and administration is there they allow you to participate in various competitions.

Dislikes

Slow adminstration work, office staff take alot of time to do the required.
Library timing is till the college timing that is till 6 o'clock.

My perspective about my college

Likes

Jabalpur engineering college is very affordable college in terms of course fee .
Jabalpur engineering college is one of the oldest technical institute in Madhya Pradesh .
Alumni network of jabalpur engineering college is very good .

Dislikes

Various lab instruments are not working .
Faculty are not willing to teach students they only need to get their attendance only
Clubs and societies in jabalpur engineering college is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing electronics and communication engineering and the best part of my branch are you'll get both opportunities whether you want to go in the private sector (coding-related jobs like software developer or in the public sector (PSUs, IES).

Likes

Course curriculum, hostel Life, senior's legacy
College lake, college playground and medical facility
Seminars, annual fest, vnmct and bbdbft tournament

Dislikes

Sometimes food quality is not maintained
Sometimes there is fight between students
College canteen are is not as much as required

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible to attend the campus, various companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM, TCS, etc. come every year and students who belong to IT and CSE branch. Take almost 100 percent placement.
