- The environment is good peace' and calm .
- The campus is good clean and good faculties
- Reputed name , the courses are good overall feels good to be a part of this college
Dislikes
- People's are arogants, egoistic , do nepotism.
- Attendance matters then knowledge, if a student have less attendance in one subject also they don't provide them to give exam.
- Lengthy course and less classes the professor completed the syllabus in just 2 months, they say the semester have 6 months but we are giving the finals in 3rd month!
Course Curriculum Overview:
I will rate it 7 cause lengthy course less classes,
Exam timing are vast others colleges held there exam on the last month of the year but our college held there exam on the 3rd month of the semester overall not good

- Alot of learning opportunities via seminars held by the departments

- Just the infrastructure that can be improved
Course Curriculum Overview:
Basically in assam, very few colleges provide B.com honours and there is almost no fee wavier in any of those. The exams are necessary for development as in my previous college we only give finals with no wah to check our preparation and ultimately the result gets worse. Here you have a way to know how ready you are for your exams. The course is easy if you try enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:
If you choose for B. Com course, the semester exams are held every 6 months and there are also two sessional exams held per semester. As the college is Autonomous and affiliated to Dibrugarh University, the college has received the status of academic autonomy status which means the college prepares question papers, evaluates the answer scripts etc. So it helps the students to prepare for their exams by consulting to their preferred professors.

Placement Experience:
Students apply for placements at the end of the 5th sem and 6th sem. Though there aren't many direct placements, students by their own means get placed somewhere or the other. Different companies that students get into through campus placement include TCS, Genpact, Vedanta, etc.
People also get into Government jobs and other internships.

There aren't any campus placements in our college.
After completing my Bcom I am thinking to to do digital marketing course from outside Assam from a good institute offline. And also while pursuing my Bcom I would also want to do other courses as well related to ooh digital media, internet, commerce etc.

I am from Golaghat. I choose J.B. college because I hear from many senior students that it's teaching quality is good than other college in Jorhat. Why Jorhat because it's my dream to study in college located in city. J.B. college is an autonomous college it's good because it teaches completely different courses other than colleges in Assam.

I select Jagannath Barooah College for my higher studies because it is one of the best colleges of Assam and A grade rewarded by NAAC. Moreover the college is best in the cultural sector and most importantly the college is in Jorhat.

Remarks:
I am from Golaghat and Jorhat is the neighboring district of Golaghat. Upper Assam's first and best Jagannath Barooah College is located in Jorhat. Every student want to study in Jagannath Barooah College. And under tea garden labour quota I get the seat and able to become a student of Jagannath Barooah College.

As a local boy my first choice after Higher secondary to read in Jagannath Barooah College. This is one of the best colleges of Assam. Because of I pursued my higher secondary in Jagannath Barooah College, I able to got seats in the same college in the quota and now I am a JBian.

Jagannath Barooah College is the best college of upper Assam and also All Assam. The teaching quality of Jagannath Barooah College is excellent. NAAC recognize this college is A grade. So that I got admission in this college.
