Our college is the Assam's 2nd College and upper Assam's 1st College. NAAC rewarded A grade to the college. It is an autonomous college and teaching faculties of this college is famous in all over Assam.

the subject, economics was my favourite in HS. so i choose it to take. and the college was near from my home. At first i wanted to take admission in cotton university. but my marks obtained on HS final exam was not enough to do it. i was disappointed and took the decision to come to JB College

Our college has an excellent placement rate. Many of our alumni get jobs in many government and private sector. Our students hired by the companies in the job fairs which are held in the college. Many of our students able to get jobs in TCS, Honda and many other companies.

Childhood dream to read in this college and also it's one of the top colleges of Assam.The college provides us a very good teaching it overall facilities are good and also it gives good eye to weaker students and takes additional special class to make and all round development to the whole class.They Departments in the mean time manages Group discussion,Seminar paper and other meeting against some burning topics to make the students go through the knowledge so that they wil be a future secure person and also Socially active person

I am a fresher at this college. But our professors said that many of our alumni get seats in Assam and India's top university's like Delhi University, JNU, GU etc. A job fair held in our college annually where many companies like Honda Motors, TCS, tea companies etc comes.
