Srinivas Institute of Management Studies [SIMS] was established in the year 1999 under the banner of Srinivas Group of Colleges. The college was set up to build enthusiastic and quality professionals in the field of Management, Information Technology and Social Work.Srinivas Institute of Management Studies is affiliated to Mangalore University and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute offers two Post-Graduation Courses; namely, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The mission of the college is to nurture a new generation of youth by providing quality education and skills matching the requirement of a harmonious, self-reliant and developed society and values inclined to serve with selfless devotion in whatever capacity they assume and wherever they work. Likes

Campus situated in city area with good infrastructure facilities.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small as it situated in city area.
Even though college gives various courses it has small cafeteria.

Admission:

Actually I lately decided to join this course. I have not applied to any other colleges. We have to clear atleast normal entrance exam to get admission. As I have joined under management seat so had to pay full fees.

I have choosen this college throgh pgcet entrance exam. It is near to me. It is located in the city. Transport facility is good. There is good emvironment near the college and also other state students are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is prescribed by the Mangalore University, which is the governing body of affiliated colleges in Karnataka. The institute is pretty good and the syllabus is designed so as to cater to the needs of rapidly changing marketplace. The course was more oriented towards the case study analysis and their relatability to the practical world.

Admission:

My journey with the SIMS college was a roller coaster ride. I learned a lot and at the same time had a lot of fun. Our college was pretty supportive of us and guided us for the job prospects and other issues. Infrastructure was reluctantly great and the faculty was pretty thorough in their approach.
