Faculty in IMT Nagpur is excepitonally great not all but most of them, and we are following the dymanic curriculum which includes case study and other dynamic projects like MR, Pricing strategy, Product mangement.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

The faculty is indeed very supportive and it was easy approaching any one in the event of a doubt clarification. We could request for extra extra support, sometimes even go and attend classes that we weren't even part of and still it would be welcome

Dislikes

They can hire more faculties full time. Few courses rely on guest faculty. That is a welcome move but the consistency of course delivery and the overall ratings become dicey when the same faculty is not continued with in the new academic year.

In a given classroom, there is generally a ratio followed of 1 faculty and 60 students. This is subjective According to the course and elective. A given elective cannot have less than 15 students enrolled. A few courses that have simulation, lab or an immersive experience that requires special instructions by the course instructor does have small group of students according to the requirements. A few of the faculty members are immensely supportive and approachable and almost all of them either carry extensive corporate experience or high qualification. To the best of my knowledge most of the professors have Phd. Their approach to teaching is generally through lecture mode and using powerpoint for aid. There is often vidoes and activities conducted to improve the learning experience. It is very easy to get doubts cleared instantly and if not one can go and meet the faculty through an appointment and get the concepts taught to them with special attention. More full time faculty is needed

Good college but with some challenges

Faculty to Student Ratio 50:1 70% percent in-house faculty, 30% percent visiting faculty approach to teaching and mentorship. Mostly Case based, Project and Assignment based. Anytime we can approach the faculties.

The faculty for all streams were excellent. My college is known for its faculty in marketing. Faculty of other streams like hr and finance is also good. Faculty was very experienced and hold PhD degree. They were always able to clear our doubts with practical examples.

IMT Nagpur Review

It's good for freshers

Most of the faculties are very much experienced and having PHd degree. They have a depth knowledge of every stream that they are teaching. It's good and informative too. Faculties plays a vital role in creating future of students manager here, as they have the experience of that domain.

Honest opinion of IMT Nagpur

Most of the facilities are from very rich and professional background having years of experience of both teaching and relevant industries having an average age of around 40-50 years. Around 7 subjects are allotted in one semester of a total of 6 semester program.

College review

There are around 50 faculty on campus and we have many guest faculties coming in college. The number of lectures are for each subject is 20-24, where each lecture is for 1. 25 hours. Some of the faculty has PhD degree and others have degree in MBA. Faculties have good knowledge in their respective subjects.

Review for imt nagpur

One of the best thing that this college provides is the quality of teaching staff or the faculty. Each and every faculty posses the Doctrate degree. They are alumini of the top b-schools of India or Abroad. Like IIT , SIBM , HBS and the list goes on .
