A journey worth sharing

Admission:

After completing my post graduation in Geology, I appeared for UGC - NET/JRF and scored pretty well in the exam.Then I opted for a PhD from in Physical Science with specialization in Earth Science from National Geophysical Research Institute the next year. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this program is M.Sc./ M.Sc. Tech/ M. Tech degree with first class (60% marks) in any branch of physical sciences, viz. Geoscience/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics.

Remarks:

NGRI is really a promising institute for students of doctorate . All supportive professors and all facilities for research makes it more efficient. Library is plus point of institute which is big. All subject related books are available in library. I highly recommend geochemistry / geological interested students to join NGRI.

Admission:

The admission to the phd course in the college is based on the NET examination. The ones who have cleared the NET examination are eligible to apply. Also, the minimum degree for the phd course is the post graduate degree. There is also a round of personal interview which candidates ought to clear.
