- Our classrooms are well maintained, also have a smart board which makes easy it easy to understand.
- Scholarships are provided on highly excelling percentages or cgpa to the respective students.
- There are campus placements for the students. various companies like big4, tcs , and many other companies are there for placement.
Dislikes
- Classrooms are fine but the canteen is very poor, and other rooms like the common room, and gym room is always locked and poor.
- There are many fake notices, circulars which spread like fire and made it all difficult and confusing for the students.
- We had to take combine classes with other section. it was so chaotic untill the students were settled in their places

Placement Experience:
In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students gets a different types of offer from different companies who visited our college, my plan is also to get a good and a decent package from our College

- Air conditioned rooms, classrooms are well maintained

- Canteen service is not up to the mark at college
- Washrooms have no jet sprays and mostly dirty
- The school's property is portrayed as if it's the college that owns it (swimming pool, ground)

Shikshayatan is one of the most famous colleges in Kolkata for Bcom hons. The curriculum includes a blend of theoretical knowledge. The course emphasizes the development of analytical skills. The curriculum provides a solid foundation for students pursuing professional certifications like CA, CMA, etc. The college also helps in development of practical knowledge of students.

- Its a all girl's college so there is no problem such
- The infrastructure is good the classrooms are pretty but the still can be better compared to other colleges at same fees
- The teacher's are okay not that good or bad
Dislikes
- The canteen can be better the overall structure too
- There should be a playerground too and a break of students
- College alway announces everything very late and not much of activities

There was nothing that influenced me in choosing this course i am pursuing ca so this course was beneficiary for me that is why. B.com is just a graduate degree so we need to study more later in order to do something

- The teachers are friendly except for few who think it's a school instead of a college
- The greenery of the College campus is nice
- The faculty is fine and helpful for our requirements

- It's college and school buliding is same
- There are no boys in college since it's an girls college
- The lift isn't usable to the students and hence it gets difficult

There are few interesting topics or subjects which rather have gained interests among the students making a trend for entrepreneurship development or ppm etc since there are a lot of other opportunities to these subjects in future

- Professor were really kind and helpful throughout the 3 years
- Teaching style of all the professors were different but easy to understand
- Classrooms had ac which really helped during the summer season
Dislikes
- Infrastructure and campus area could have been better
- There was no fest organised unlike the other colleges in Kolkata which i was looking forward to
Placement Experience:
My college has a placement cell dedicated for placement purpose companies like kpmg , phonepe , deloitee came for placement and picked up
Few students with average to good salary package
10-20 percent students got placed this year
I'm currently pursuing CA a professional course many students opted to pursue Mcom or MBA

- the events are really amazing and it is so much fun participating in it
- the teachers are really friendly and help us out
- the management is really good and always helps student

- the class is compact which sometimes feel overwhelming
- there are too many events to focus on one thing
- the exam are a difficult to pass the papers are hard

my course accounting and finance I would say the course is really comprehensive and helps you get in real world and the teaching methods is really good they use ppt and explain the topics really well. there are subjects like economics management financial accounting and all

- The faculties of the college is very polite and approachable. They take the initiative to teach as their methods of teaching is very clear and understandable by students
- The campus is kept clean and the washrooms are quiet hygienic

- The college students cannot play in the grounds in the school hours
- The college students have no access to the swimming pool
- The college campus could have been extended more
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had choosed Commerce and I'm pursuing CA right now so the syallabus is more or less the same and hence it made me choose this course.
The college do give students orientation and prepare fests for us to work on our own.

I wanted to opt for banking and finance previously but there was no choice for it therefore i took accs and finance
Would not like to comment on this
