How Many libraries does SSC West Bengal have?

SSC West Bengal has two Libraries, namely, the General Library and the B.Ed. Library. The college has an air-conditioned, computerized, open-access library with a collection of about 42,000 books, apart from various journals, magazines, and newspapers. The General Library has internet facilities for the students. In addition, there is a Seminar Library in each Honours department for ready access to books. A Book Bank facility is also available for the underprivileged students of the college. BEd library is the digital library that can only be accessed by the college students on the colleges website.

All About SSC

From 2nd year students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like EY, KPMG, TCS , and many companies visit the college for the placement. Highest package is 5LPA and the Avg would be 2.5 Lpa. I don't know the percentage of students getting placement because there are many students who opt for different career paths

Our college known for internship program

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students gets a different types of offer from different companies who visited our college, my plan is also to get a good and a decent package from our College

Limited exposure to out of field career paths

Students become eligible for campus placements from the last year which is 5th semester. I do not have any official data but many companies like Deloitte, PwC, Genpact, and Kotak Bank visited the college. Deloitte made around 25 offers this year. The highest package is around 6-7 lakhs and the average is 4-5 laks. Around 70-80% of students get placed. I have plans to pursue an MBA after getting the degree.

Shri Shikshayatan - Shiksha and Funn

From semester 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit like TCS, Mirchi Bangla, ABP Ananda, Zee 24 Ghanta many such companies come. Many new entrepreneurship ventures come too. College has an active placement cell. New companies come every year. Most of the students almost 60 percent eligible people get placed. I plan to go into public relations or advertising after this degree.

After 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements...tcs , wipro , infosys , google many good companies had came and made huge offers...avg package was 30 lpa and highest will go upto 2 cr...90 percents of student get placement every year by their performance...my plans after getting the degree was to pursue masters first.

our college shri shikshayatan provides many placement opportunities. you need to be active in whatsapp group or email. many big firm like TATA, deloitte, hdfc bank, icici bank, some ca firms come to our college for placement. they take some exam and interviews for job. they provide approx rs.3,00,000 package. you should do intership with studies or at least take part in NSS or LTS type social work which help to build networing. If no campus placement then your previous experience will help to get job or you go for MBA that accelerate your career

Shikshayatan pros and cons

The placement drive is held regularly during the final year. The classes are held regularly and the professors are very helpful and friendly. If one attends classes on a regular basis then all doubts will be cleared.

I do believe that the internship opportunities could be better which is why our college is lacking behind in case of internships.

From the 2nd year itself campus placement drives starts and companies start coming to college with their job offers. The average salary is around 20000 per month and maximum is around 35000 per month. It also depends on your overall performance and results. Good enough if you can bag a good placement around 30000 by being consistent with semester grades
