IIPS Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The curriculum does not even prepare you a little bit for the real world applications and opportunities because the curriculum is quite old and not suitable according to current scenarios but otherwise it's good

The placements are quite good as there are only two courses mca and mtech so there is less competition and the college provides almost 100% placement. Highest offcampus package is 1.3CR and on campus is around 48lpa the average package is 7-8lpa.

The college student are eligible for placements when they are in 8 the sem because my mtech course is 5 years and when student clear the 7 the sem they are eligible for set in placements and The college placements are good and the highest package is 1corore12 lakh and the average packages is 6 to 7 lakh

Students become eligible for placements in 4th year. The highest package was of something 1.12 crore and avg package is of around 7 lakh. 100 per placements of students is seen in recent years. Which is good compared to other institutes

The third-year student is eligible for campus placement. Wipro oyo Amazon mantra and many more companies visited in college..highest placement of this year is 1.15cr and the average placement is 6lakh.. hundred percent placements in college. I plan to become a software engineer and become a software engineer

I always had an interest in programming languages and always wanted to learn more about them. All the facilities here are excellent. Each and every faculty holds a doctorate degree. There are no such faculties here that have not done a PhD program. Teachers here do not just put up facts and figures in front of students, they properly make them understand the practicality of the particular topic. Overall it is a great environment to learn new things here. You get to learn a lot from the faculties. So due to covid, our session (2022-23 ) started late. But there's a level of exams which are conducted here. You cannot just mug up things. You need to understand the concepts and no doubt it will be better for you to do so.

You have placement drives coming from May of the 4th year(starting of the 5th year). I would rather advise you to go for MCA rather than MTech because a lot of companies allow MCA to appear more than MTech. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, and many more companies and startups come to this campus for placements.

From the 8th sem the students become eligible for the placement. The percentage of students placed on the college campus is also very good around 80-85 %. The average salary provided by the recruiter is around 3.5 lakhs per annum.

All the faculties are highly qualified with enough teaching experience and knowledge. There is 3 internal tests (40% of the total result) for every subject and the best 2 are considered and a final exam(60% of the total result).

The students of M.Tech are eligible from the 4th year to appear for the campus placements. Many companies arrive for placements from startups like Walkover (product-based companies), Gammastack, to MNC's and tech giants like Cognizant, Accenture, VMWare, FICO, Quatiphi, and many more with multiple roles and package from 3.5 LPA to 24 LPA. I am now working in Cognizant and companies are still visiting for the 2016 pass-out batch. The highest package offered by Avalara for the SDE role of 24 LPA and VMWARE offered 10 LPA for tech support.
