Likes

Faculties are so helpful. You can reach them if you don't understand anything
The ground and dias is a hangout spots for students.
Our junior senior relationship is actually so healthy.

Dislikes

Canteen's food quality is not that good.
Fine of 500 each subject if there's attendance below 75%
Laboratories are old. Need to upgrade the gears and machines

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties are good. They have vast knowledge and degrees but some of them can't communicate to the students during teaching. So sometimes the topics get hard to understand. But they hired some mew professors who actually know the teaching style. It helps a lot

College structure, and official helps very good

Dislikes

Canteen food is very bad , it is very strict college

I choose Electronics and Communication in this college, this branch is super, the official staff is very helpful. They are BTech, MTech, MS, and also PhD in qualifications. They help us on many sides and you can reach the highest knowledge from this branch.

Honest STCET review

Likes

Ragging free campus , Unbiased administration, great faculty
Sports tournaments throughout the year become the entertainment factor
Freedom to have choices in subjects and good guidance

Dislikes

Uniform for students in college is what i dislike
No such clubs and society's made for more socializing
Too strict for attendance and doesn't allow for internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem campus placement starts Companies like Nri fintech, Cognizant and mindtree visits our college. Highest salary offered last year was 10.5 lpa Almost 80-90% students gets placed My plan is to go for higher studies

My college life review

Likes

Sports is given importance here so good for sporty people
Discipline is highly monitored. So good for careless people.
Good placement. They are trying hard to get all their students placed

Dislikes

No cultural fest. Bad for people with other interests other than sports
No social life. It feels like a robot making factory. No social clubs nothing. It would've helped in gaining confidence.
Very few teachers can actually teach. Maximum are not good

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem, students become eligible for campus. NRIFT, Mindtree, P360, Incture these are the few companies that visit. Cognizant comes but this year they haven't. Usually maximum students get placed but this year not so. Highest package goes till 10LPA and lowest is around 3LPA.

Likes

Placement record is good and every year 4-5 companies visit our college.
Every year football, TT, badminton, cricket tournaments are organized.
Faculty members are very helpful and student friendly.

Dislikes

College is pretty strict. You can't enjoy your college life
This college does not organize any tech fest.
You can't bunk classes regularly. At the end of the semester you will have to pay fine.

Placement Experience:

Placement record is pretty good. Every year 4-5 companies come and give jobs around 90% of the student and the salary package is so so for a fresher. Yes u can get an on campus job. The highest package provided by the company is about 100000 and the average package is 400000.

A college with boring atmosphere and strict rules with very less external scopes to grow,still standing for few remarkable faculty members and internal good opportunities.

Likes

Sports facilities are really great along with inter college competitions,college and faculty members encourage to participate in those events.
The project and research paper publication opportunities under the experienced faculty members is also a reward for many students.
The location is in central kolkata so accessibility is also the factor that should be kept in mind.

Dislikes

No encouragement towards external internship facilities.
Strict atmosphere with 75% mandatory attendance barrier,else a fine will be charged per subject.
Less availability of events such as tech fest and cultural fest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the faculty members are not that much good,but in CSE and IT few of the teachers are really helpful and now a days there is a encouragement of projects,new faculty members has been deployed for CSE and each of them have done their M.Tech.Few of them are currently pursuing PHD.

This college give me a new life and this is the newborn area for my life.

Likes

Very helpful official support, neat and clean area and very helpful staff

Dislikes

This is very strict college so many student dislike but you can capture many fun moment in this college

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year you can apply in college placements.companies which visit in our campus like Nomura, P360,LTI MINDTREE, Infosys,cognizant or many others company. I think 95 percenten student get offers , last year 10 lakh was highest package in on-campus placement.

Likes

i like canteen food which is very good and healthy
i also like my college library which includes many books
i like the faculty members and teachers and office attendants

Dislikes

i dont like the college structures and buildings

Placement Experience:

Earlier the students got eligible from 6th semester for campus placements but now due to recession it has increased to 7th sem the notable companies include cognizant infosys mindtree nomura p360 .the average package is 5lakh

College environment is good with zero ragging policy.
Dedicated sports events are held encouraging students to stay fit.
Faculty members are well mannered are nice.

Dislikes

There is no fest conducted in this college.
This college has uniform, you can't wear clothes according to your will
Campus is kind of small with no auditorium

The Sad Truth

Likes

I like that people are into sports, and there are some craze
All the time teachers are serious , all the time
It's good to demotivate yourself from this college

Dislikes

All staff are too serious, its not a IIT
No value for sports, idk why soo but its wrong
Students are good, not much bookish but okayisj

According to my rank This branch was the most suitable option for me so that's why I choose this The ratio is about 30:1 Teacher are good qualified but there is a big language barrier , I mean when qnyone asked doubt in bangli then teacher starts explaining it in bangoli
