- There is availability of scholarship like ssp and nsp for the desired students.
- Best teachers for both theory and practical, campus is very big with two playgrounds, with a running track

From the 7 semester students are able to eligible for Campus placement
About 25 to 35 companies along with mass recruitment are visited to campus and offers about 1000 to 1200 offer each year
About 70 percent of student from all branches except civil are placed overall
My plan is for preparing for government job in railway and electricity board after getting the degree from electrical and electronics engineering branch

- Nothing i like about this college , no facility will support you.
- Worst department , worst Dean, worst management.
- Very Bad environment they Just focus on book .

- No practical skill will develop, dont come here
- No placements , they call only fraud company with bonds.
- Please Don't join this college, it my biggest mistake to join this horrible college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is 100 year old they are teaching the concept of 90s .
They Don't know any trending technology they just come in class and read out ppt and take the attendance and walk away.

50 to 60 companies visit our campus like tcs, accenture, capgemini ,amazon , deloite and many
Highest package is 25Lakhs and average package is 6lakhs
On average 80% students get placed in core branches like cse ece 90- 95% get placed

- Its really far from the city and traveling takes a lot of time
Course Curriculum Overview:
Sir mvit is under vtu which updates thier syllabus every 5 years and the syllabus is modern which is useful after engineering i think its a good option that vtu is updating the syllabus every 4 years beacuse it is very important that the syllabus is thought according to current market

When we are coming to placements from year 2000-2020 this college was very good for placements and good skills teaching from the college side so it was very easy for the placements and advantage is college campus

- Too much strict when it comes to attendance and id cards
- Too much rules and regulations for the beginners

For future studies the civil engineering is best
Better smart classroom would help students regarding the topic
The timing of exams is perfect we get time to read and give our exams properly

- The college has a very big campus around 133 acres

- The college Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is located at remote location.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The syllabus is vtu based which same in all vtu affiliated colleges.
Internals are conducted twice or thrice in a semester,which comes almost every month.if u study regularly u can easily top the exams.

- Things i liked in sir m vishweshwaraya college is that there is different block for different course like for first year students there is a block called science

I will rate this course average not too good and not bad at all and the course becomes easy for those who study the core subjects in this
Area for improvement of this course is that it need to be teach basic concepts of this course

- The campus is really huge and filled with trees, birds and pet animals.
- The infrastructure is really good and labs are well furnished.
- There are many shops and a canteen with juice shop which serves really good food.
Dislikes
- The placement cell should really improve. There is very less coaching and the companies visiting are decreasing.
- The quality of education should improve and to be based on industry level knowledge.
- Some teachers are very strict and act like school teachers.

Placement Experience:
As I mentioned earlier, the placement provided is moderate and is decreasing day by day. There were only few companies visited this year and almost more than half students are not placed. After completion of the course, searching for a job is really hectic and challenging. I am facing the same situation and i don't wish to give this situation to anyone.

- The most liked thing into my college is its distance from airport. As in banglore the nearest college to the Kempagowda International Airport is SMVIT.
- The college have very good green campus and Infrastructure is not that cool.
- price list of food available in canteen.
Dislikes
- The college staff is not good and not even supportive at all.
- So many Restrictions in college like dress is not allowed and sitting with any girl in class is not allowed.
- Discrimination between north and south, biggest issue in college..
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students used to become eligible for the placements as the companies used to start taking the interviews.
Companies like harman, Mahindra, etc. visited lasat year in the college and the number of jobs offered wa nearly about 332.
Highest package was 16lakh and average package is 3lakh last year.
Only 20% students got placed.
i will try to get job off-campus.
