- Being an older establishment est 1986 it holds a respectable name in the corporate world especially among old HR managers
- The college maintains a disciplined academic environment which helps in consistent study habits
Dislikes
- With every college there are some negatives so do here the college is like far from city which might be cause some problem to students as there are not cafeterias or any other hangout places near college

- Beautiful and Peaceful campus : The campus of SMVIT is spacious,green, and peaceful , providing a great environment for learning and relaxation.
- Various student clubs for coding , arts , sports helps students to explore their interests.
- The college promotes discipline , respect , and responsibility - qualities that shape students personally and professionaly.
Dislikes
- There could be more frequent technical workshops , industrial visits , and guest lectures to give students broader exposure.
- Internet connectivity inside the campus and hostels can be sometimes be slow or inconsistent.
- The college is located slightly away from the main city area , so public transport and accessibility can be inconvenient for some students.
Placement Experience:
For 2023-24 highest package is about 16 lpa
Average pakage is around 6-7 lpa
Top recruiters include firms like Kick Drum , Infosys , TCS , Tally solutions etc.
For CSE/ISE/ECE branches , placement outcomes tend to be significantly better in terms of packages and number of offers.

- Beautiful buildings because there is the simplicity that should be described and design keeping this in mind that it is college building and lots of greenery is there so people and me even like it.
- Got very good friend which also made us learn that how rich diversity our country has
- Good teachers because they support us very well for our academic and also help us and motivate us to explore new things and excel in our life
Dislikes
- My college is in very isolated area which is very far from city so that's a negative point
- There is lack of safety and security because main gate of our college is on national highway
- They pressurize us for attendance so we are not able to focus except on skill development and are only busy with assignment,major,minor, external,internals.
Internships Opportunities:
As we have heard if we or our seniors has to do internship then we have to search ourselves the opportunity as college doesn't provide any kind of help they just tell us to focus on our attandance and attend classes even if we are diening we have to attend the class

- The college is very huge where it is of 135 acers of campus which is very large and has a huge cricket fields
- Boys hostel is far from girls hostel which is one of the great thing by the management
- The college has a library of 6cr worth which will be inugrated in 2025

- The college is located outside the city and is located exterior
- The college has not yet opened the library which is very much required

The college offers a good range of placements where our seniors and super seniors have recived a good range packages which gives us an belief that even we may get placed in a good companies with an high paying packages.

- Campus size is vast, doesn't feel cramped or suffocated like few other colleges.
- Plentiful greenery around the whole campus, which provides a pleasant atmosphere.
- Location is outskirts of city making it a different environment.

- Infrastructure can be improved a lot considering the amount of fees they take.
- Curriculum of vtu is outdated and more of theoretical content.
- Evaluation of external exams since it's a non autonomous college - can be unfair or too strict sometimes

Placements begin from 6th semester.
Companies which usually visit are cognizant, tcs, accenture, wipro, chi, l&t, etc. Number of offers issues so far are around 500.
Highest package is around 30L from media.net and average placement is around 5 to 6L. Percentage of students getting placed are 90+.
My plans after getting degree are to get a job and settle down first and then look into my further future career.

- The college is around 133 acres less green campus which is best thing, it also have ganesha temple too.
- The college infrastructure is old but still beautiful and the new library is awesome built past one year back
- The college fest are legendary their are so many clubs which conducts events and fest every month.
Dislikes
- The college placement are becoming worse year by year,the placement was less than 50% for cse branch and overall it was just 40%.
- The college mechanical faculty is not good they show so much of attitude and they are very rude
- The college is strict in terms of attendance exams and the management is not good.

The placement scenario is very bad compared to other colleges, it may be due to the irresponsible management and careless,the college has very less placement past 3years the actual placement is around 50% overall.the companies mostly visits are TCS and Accenture,the placement is okay for cse branch and for remaining branch its hell

- I liked the college infrastructure, mostly new library which is more beautiful to see and college has lush green campus of 133 acres
- The faculty is good and very supportive not any academic problems but they help in personal problem too.
- The fest and clubs in college is one of my favourite parts,their are so many clubs in college which celebrates numerous number of legendary fests

- The college placement is not so good, as the real placement percentage is less than 50%
- The teacher are strict in terms of exams, attendance,and discipline

Replacement in this college is not good as expected the placements are eligible for the 7th semester onwards the company more often visits are like TCS and mass hiding companies and the provide the package of 4 to 5 LPA the percentage of students getting place is very low for the CSE it's about 50% and for including all the branch it's less than 50%. I will looking for the of campus opportunities after I complete my degree to get place in a good company without any depend dependency on this college

- The college is greenish,and its around 133 acres making one of the best environment to study located at Bangalore. The college has a little bit old infrastructure but they are good Apart from this they have new big modern library
- The college faculty is good and they help students in all aspects expect some teachers
- The clubs activities are superb in this college containing around 25 clubs where u can enhance your skill

- The mechanical department faculties are like hell.i recommend don't do mechanical engineering in this college.the faculties are more strict than any other school or college
- The placements are not as shown in their website.the placement rate is around 50%
- The college are very strict in terms of attendance,exams and still its not autonomous affiliated to vtu

The campus placements are good only for computer science engineering and their specifications branch like iot,data science,etc but coming to mechanical and civil hardly 15-20 students get placed out of 60
Coming to my branch cse (iot) placement is around 60% i hope I will get placed

- The college has no gate you can go whenever you want, and whenever you can come, it has a good greenery around the campus. It’s huge it’s around 145 acres, but the College is only constructed in 40 acres.
- It has a new library, which is a digital library. It’s big it’s constructed new and has a good architecture but doesn’t have a lift.
- Okay, the ground The ground is huge. You can play whenever you want after banking. The classes or you have to wait till the college ends. You have to bring your own kit to play the cricket there.

- It is old College and has worst infrastructure
- The labs are not up to the mark, some computers work and some
- The chemical labs or physical labs are not good equipment is old

Internships are done usually outside the college because the inside college internships are not as good as they say and they are taught inside physical labs by teachers itself, and the internships are also paid internship around 2 to Rs. 3000 to get an internship certificate over there
