The course syllabus and curriculum is rusted and need to have some attention on it immediately and seriously, i choose biotechnology but i thave to do maths and physics insted of the stbjects related to biotechnolgy.
Fee is almost 1 L per year for Open category. But if you go for TFWS option i,e Tution fee waver scheme it's 10K per year for open category. Also, if family income is low or you belong to farmer family you can go for EBC (Economically Backward Class) concession (this is for open category). People under caste can get concession in fees as per the criteria of college. OBC has mostly 50 % concession, ST 10 K almost and SC around 5K-6K or less. A well maintained placement cell is their in our college, campus jobs are a benifit truely.
I love biology but I have try hemophobia and I faint after watching blood so I couldn't opt for becoming a doctor. I want to do research in quite a few subjects and all those subjects are taught in Biotechnology, so it was a win win situation for me. The student faculty ratio is around 40:1. All teachers have done Masters and a few have done PhD. Almost all teachers are good at teaching. Term exams are conducted on time according to the date provided and they are easy if you study regularly well in advance.
Well its a bit expensive if you fall under the open category. But if you are eligible for a scholarship its okay to bear it. Well, the fees is accepted by dd demand darft. But in case some situations arise like holidays in a row then cash payment is accepted. I dont think of any additional fees required for admission. All you get is through mht cet and other quotas.
For general it's around 1 lakh per year. There are many scholarships for everyone. Including Ebc, etc. Hostel fees are around 65000 with mess. Hostel are nice at this fees. The fees are little expensive if you do not belong to Ebc and come under general category.
If you belong to open category, the fees will be around 1, 00, 000. So depending on situation, it may be expensive. But referring to other curricular activities and campus life, fees are feasible. The fee will be less for students depending on the category to which they belong.
Comparatively feasible. The fees for a year is about 1 lakh INR for 2019-20. Which is less compared to other private institutions in India. Ofcourse it is higher than the government aided institutes which are funded by the government.
Fees structure is expensive if you compare witg other colleges of pune University. Comparing with other branches of sinhgad, SCOE is most expensive one. But they are really providing everything for your academic including sports, good campus.
