Good quality of teachers:- mostly professors are excellent in their respective fields and have great subject knowledge.
It was amazing and great to be witnessed and roam around and live the college life as beautifully as shown in movies and all.
I know this is a very big amount but it is good for your future this college makes efforts to make you good for top mncs the scholarship is good they provide scholarships and even i got my scholarship

Dislikes

Some of the rules are so bad in this college like for hostel related
The fee structure of my college is very high which may be unappropriate for people this college is prohibited for poor the scholarship is hard to get.
You can not stay in hostel during college hours this most bad thing here

Just my life in college

Likes

Infrastructure is good . The classroom are clean and have air conditioners and modern it has everything basic amenities
They have good faculty and some faculty have great knowledge
The college offers special traning classes

Dislikes

Their is no freedom in the campus. You can't bunk , you can't use phone , you can't do anything in the college except study you have zero social life
Their is fine in almost every thing in the college like 2000 fine for using phone if a switch board of class is broken everyone in the class need to pay 500
The attendance criteria is 90% and if you don't maintain the attendance it has fine of 400 per % and teacher in our college always threat student that they will cut their attention

Course Curriculum Overview:

Their is 9-5 college the course curriculum is good but it's not good for me I like to do self study and the things that college teacher are outdated but some things are good .the curriculum somewhat prepared us for real world applications like English curriculum , aptitude and some coding training class. I think college should force student to take 9-5 classes who are weak and the student that do not want to study . The frequency of the exam are quite often

Life At PSIT KANPUR.

Likes

Faculty Teaching Pedagogy is up to the mark.
Proper skill enhancement classes are taken like Technical and Corporate Training classes.
It has world class infrastructure. All the facilities are available. AC classrooms well seating arrangements. Clean and tidy campus.

Dislikes

Rules and regulations or cons. You have to attend the college everyday because 90% attendance is compulsory otherwise you have to pay fine of Rs. 400/ day.
For males in the name of grooming the asked them to be clean shaven.

From 3rd semester the companies starts to visit campus. I am in my 4th semester and more than 50 companies have visited for campus placement. The placement percentage is 90%. My plan is to get a good placement from campus. Some of the name Companies visited is HCL Tech, TATA, TCI, PVR, WOODEN STREET, ADITYA BIRLA CHEMICALS, ARVIND FASHIONS etc. Highest Package is 7 lpa and average is 3 lpa

my experience at psit kanpur

Likes

Teachers are good. They are supportive to each and every students
Infrastructure of college is sufficient for everything
Centralized AC is installed in all over college and in hostels as well

Dislikes

you will not be able to enjoy night life of college as you are not allowed to walk in campus after 9 pm
things in college is quite expensive . Blinkit , INSTAMART they dont give there services in this area
playing cricket is not allowed inside a campus

Placement experience there is no such good placement in this college just because Students are not doing well otherwise college has provided a good environment if you talk about internship and placement offer you can get it from 3rd year onwards highest highest package went up to 58,00,000 at tcs is a mass recruiter from my colleague and overall there is placement opportunities

There are beautiful infrastructure of my collage
The all faculty of my collage is best faculty.
The placemant ration and intership ratio is also a good

Dislikes

9am to 5pm classes I think they have to reduce this time
Not enough bio break between classes for to have break after classes
And the attendence is 90 percent it is also a very tought to maintain it

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college was quite good. Because they run placement drives in college. Highest package of my college was nearly about 66 lakh per annum which was given by google. And average package is about 6lpa.

PSIT the strict but helpful college

Likes

amazing campus infrastructure with lush green enviroment .
interactive professors with a genuine helping nature , with amazing teaching experties.
there are many clubs in our college which provide enough opportunites for once growth

Dislikes

there is no grocery shop in our college and college situated at highway
9 to 5 college and 90% mandatory attendence
our college is very strict in every aspects and impose high fine on students

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester we strat getting the placement opportunities from college and student who do interships get special privlege to skip classes without bieng marked absent. the companies comes in our college is infyosis , tcs,accenture , capgemini,google. highest package grabbed by student is 66 lpa from google and average package of 6 lpa

LIFE @ PSIT.

Likes

A well structured curriculum, supportive ,faculty ,good placement opportunities, a well maintained infrastructure and a vibrant student life.
Annual Fest like Ignitia and TechExpo is conducted for the recreational purpose .
Industrial training and various internship opportunities are given.

Dislikes

Attendance above 90% is compulsory if less then fine is charged.
Timing is from 9AM to 5PM which is a huge duration.
Various restrictions are there but yes they are all in a healthy way.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester palcements are carried on. Many companies like infosys,accenture ,wipro SAP labs do visit college and students do apply for off campus also. College provides tarining opportunities too.

The PSIT is well known fir there infrastructure
It is also known for its good placement record
The mess and canteen are Fully hygiene with proper AC classes

Dislikes

The worst part that I had dislike the most is there 90% attendance criteria
The generate fines like butter over bread
The worst part is the working hours i.e from 9 to 5

Placement Experience:

From 3 year onwards students can apply for internship till the end of the 3 year or in the beginning of the 4th year the got the placement.Several companies visits like TCS WIPRO INFOSYS etc. Approx 60 percent of them get placed in good company

Likes

The college has a good infrastructure and geometrical which makes a good infrastructure and the greenery present all over campus makes it attractive
The classrooms are all ac and have digital boards making it intresting and interactive classes
The girls is to boys ratio is high as there are more boys in a class than girls

Dislikes

Poor connectivity all over campus which makes it tough to connect to internet world
The 9 to 5 schedule is very hectic making it difficult to maintain the same Focus and energy
The discipline is very High all over the college which is a not so good thing

Likes

Buildings of psit is nice overall infrastructure is good
Fully ac hostel campus for students provided by psit
Facult is very good they help whenever you want

Dislikes

9 to 5 class timings is very bad its very haptic for students
Mess timings for lunch is not good they have to increase
90 percent attendance policy below 90 gets you fine.

Placement Experience:

Placement in psit is very good . From around 7 semester student placed here in companies such as google Microsoft capagemini delloite etc. Highest package is around 65 lpa average is 6lpa around 80 percent student placed here.

Likes

Faculty is very good they are ready to help most of the time
Very disciplined collage i know for some of people 90 percent attendance is to haptic but it will help you after you graduate from this college
Beautiful campus all around psit and infrastructure is also good

Dislikes

9-5 class i think they have to reduced this time.
Not enough bio break between classes for to have break after classes
Fine ! If you indulge in any unrelevant behaviour activities you have to pay penalty for it .

Placement Experience:

You can get internship in after 5 semester and after 6 semester you're eligible for college placements and some time in 5th semester also based on your skills. There are many companies such as amazon google microsoft Capgemini infosys tcs and even more .. I think around 80 percent student will placed here. Highest package is around 55 lakh and average is around 6 lakhs . I look out for an internship and placement also

PSIT offers good learning resources and facilities to students. The faculties are highly qualified and have years of experience in teaching. PSIT placements 2022 had witnessed a record 90 percent recruitment. The average package offered this year was INR 5-6 LPA. Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc. were the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.
