The college provides good placement opportunities for students through internships programs, careers fairs the university facilitates valuable connections between students and employeers however u should score good marks
Open students, they can apply for an ebc scholarship, and there are scholarships for hostel students as well.
They have great knowledge about the course and guide students properly.

Dislikes

There Placements are very bad. Average package is of just 4 LPA.
Poor marking for exracurricular activities which was recently introduced under project Based Learning(PBL).
the location might be confusing some times

Life is here and now

Remarks:

Bad remark means they should complete there portion on time and whole faculty should be good not just 70 percent is good and remaining is bad. And good thing is about the social life in college . Teachers are free to talk and are much like friends except some senior faculty. U make best friends here and that's the best part of it . But I am still in 1st year so no much remarks.

Very nice college good staff large infrastructure. Might be a bit expensive for some. The boys hostel should be provided with a bus facility. But the festivals here are just mind-blowing

Entrance Exam : MH-CET. Scored 110 marks in entrance exam and then applied for CAP rounds. First 3 CAP rounds i didnt get seats. Then i applied for 4th CAP round and i got seat in PIIT. I stay at Nallasopara. And my college was at New Panvel. Its nearly 3+ hours away from my home. I used to travel daily for 6 to 7 hours. One of my friend was also studying in this college.

I got directly into Second Year ,i.e, S.E of the four year B.E course as I did my diploma in Computer Engg. So, no other entrances were needed. Initially I was looking for a college in Mumbai City but ended up in PIIT because I scored an agg. of 73% in my final year of diploma and also a lot of people including my friends in other colleges in harbour line told me how good Pillai's College is for Engineering.
