I had applied to both colleges, but I chose New Horizon College of Engineering for my CSE degree mainly due to its proximity to home and better placement opportunities. The college emphasizes practical learning and has a robust placement training program, which starts from the 6th semester.

The fees for CSE were around 3.5 lakh per year, and I felt it was worth it considering the facilities and faculty support. The annual fest, Sargam, is a highlight for students as well. While REVA University might have some good features, NHCE's focus on placements and student engagement makes it stand out for me.

New Horizon College Bangalore is a decent choice for a B Tech in CSE. The curriculum is updated every two years, which is good because it aligns with industry needs. Exams are held every two months, giving us enough time to prepare. The faculty here is approachable and knowledgeable, and they provide plenty of resources and support. However, I feel like the placement opportunities are not as plentiful for my course compared to some other branches, but I believe they are improving. My experience so far has been positive, and I’m hopeful about the future.

From my experience at New Horizon for Computer Science and Engineering, I feel like the placement opportunities are pretty solid. They have a good number of companies visiting for placements, with a highest package around 32 LPA, and an average package around 6-8 LPA.

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. the companies which visit during placement rounds are ibm, capgemini, cognizant, tcs, wipro,deloitte, happyfox,genpact etc. The highest package for nhce is 42.5lpa, average is 10-15lpa and lowest is 5-6lpa. My plan is to work for 2 years and continue with higher studies and focus in research based area which increases the job security and salary
