Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement in the college was not very good but better than other colleges which were around in my area but many of the students where getting placed but the average student we are not getting placed in the IT sector

Students are eligible for campus placements from their 7th semester. Infosys, TCS, Sutherland, and Wipro were some of the companies that visited the campus and many job offers were made. The highest package offered was around 5 lakh per annum for a System Engineer from Infosys and the average package was 3 lakh offered by most of the companies Around 40 percent of students from my batch were placed on campus. My plan was to start a freelancing job after completion of my degree.

Some of the students are eligible in the 6 semesters. Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys are the some of the companies average annual package is min 2 lakhs and max 12 lakhs The first one has no history of arrear and 7 above GCPA.

In the ending of the 6th or starting of the 7th semester campus interview is being conducted. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Cognizant, Google etc are visiting. They are many students who have got placed with high paid jobs. Yearly above 50% students are placed.

Nothing I could think of as negative remarks. This college was a stepping stone for my career and life and it facilitated it's part very well to say. I get to learn more in life and profession from the College.

My college has both positive and negative remark so we can't expect the college to be 100% perfect, it's according to our mentality to see the college in positive or negative site. Every college doesn't be perfect.

It's a Jain minority institution and they serve only veg and there is two types of mess i.e one is Jain mess and another is Non Jain Mess. In Non Jain mess, food is not that good as in Jain mess. Jain's only allowed in Jain mess. But sometimes, Non Jains are also went and ate there. Infrastructure wise it's not that much preferable but we can have good environment to study there.
