KGISL Institute of Technology (KGISL), established in 2008, is a private, autonomous engineering institute in Coimbatore. With an NAAC Grade A accreditation, this institute was ranked 19th by Anna University in the engineering category in 2024. This institute is built under the KG Trust.

KGISL offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses across several departments of Engineering and Management. With B.Tech as its flagship course, it provides other courses like M.E, and MBA. KGISL Admission 2025

KGISL admissions for B.E.,B.Tech, MBA, and M.E. programs are based on the performance in the qualifying exam or the TANCET entrance exams. For B.Tech, and B.E. admissions, students are allotted seats through TNEA counseling. Online and offline Admissions are generally conducted around May & June. Ans. KGISL offers scholarships to meritorious and deserving students. It provides the following scholarship based on merit score:

100% off on tuition fees for students securing 180 marks and above.
It provides a 50% off on tuition fees for students with a cutoff of 170 and above.
Students securing 165 marks and above will be given a 25% off on the Tuition Fee
10% off in tuition fee for students securing 150 marks and above

KITE follows anna university curriculum and it follows CGPA Grading system the gardes are A,B,C and O, with higher grade reperesents the better acadamic achievement.

Admission:

Due my 12th board marks I couldn't get the top colleges and when I did they asked the donation such as more than 5 lakhs that I couldn't afford and if I did I need to make it a good use of the college not wasting my time and I did government quota and I was 3rd level and that too BCM so I'll get less seat and the top colleges got filled and I have to choose this college

I have applied for MGR university chennai but I cant go long so this is best college near me I didnt applied in other college because i felt best here. our college eligiblity is marks obtained in 12 grade where the percentage should be more than 80 percent for Top cources. Based on the cutoff category students can choose the departments they need

The KGISL Experience

Likes

Many events such as hackathons, expos and other can makes us to gain more knowledge and experience.
The availability of the resources in this college is best and the lab facilities , projector ,system in the classrooms helps a lot in our studies.
I like the learning facilities here, It will make you learn the best than other colleges.

Dislikes

The strict rules sometimes disappoint us and more formalities they have for approving our requests.

Admission:

I chose KGISL because it offers a more technology-focused curriculum , with excelent lab facilities and industry-driven projects, which I found lacking in the other institutions. Typically , college offers courses for students who have completed their 12th with a strong focus in mathematics , physics and chemistry.

Infrastructure is vast and well maintained
In campus companies like CTS, Bosch, Dell etc

Dislikes

More importance given to academics than sports
No holidays on Saturdays and getting permission for leave is complicated
Lab facilities should be improved with more equipments

Admission:

Course eligibility is to have a decent cut off marks to enter. The application form and fees structures can be done in the office and the staffs will guide every aspects clearly. The exams are all in easy way and the admission process has to be hassle free for all the students
