Faculty of the computer science department is so nice and they teach us to get best outcomes of our projects which are further required for our placement purpose and the other subject faculty memebers are ok
This collge is providing various courses with fee of 108000 and it is the best college and it also provides various scholarships for the students and many hackthons to the students and it is the best collwege
The library is pretty good with a nice collection of books.

Dislikes

Campus canteen is the other thing which i disliked it , not because it is worst but it doesn't reaches our expectations
The cut off eamcet rank should be less than 7000 for oc candidates.
It is a bit of a disappointment to see there is no difference between the courses, all have to study cse.

Good College

Likes

Adequate and Proper Workshop lab and Chemistry lab
Canteen facility available for students and for students living in hostel a pass available for them to go to hostel during lunch
A very big ground in the heart of the city

Dislikes

No flexible timings, once you reach you can only leave after the day ends

Placement Experience:

Students from the 6th semester are allowed to sit for company rounds but in this semester the rate is low. From the 7th semester, the drives for companies are frequent and the suitable students are sent to them. Mostly 60-70% of total students are placed in companies. Companies hire as many as 60 per drive to low as 1. It depends on the company's needs.

Magical College Life

I liked how the faculty are interactive with the students. Especially our ECE lecturers. We often have fun sessions for the english subject where we pkay skits, dramas and self awarness programs. They also include fun activities during the class.
There is a basketball court which i like the most and there is volley ball as well. The canteen food is awesome. And the uncle in the canteen receive us very well. Only some faculty are friendly.
The placements are also provided for almost all the students. We also had classes for coding for improving performance in the placements. We also have fests that include dandiya nights, patang utsav and kmit evening.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is not so good. The place can be more spacious. Its very conjusted in the centre of the city. The playground is very small and there is no proper parking area. We can't roam around when leisure the watchmandontallow
Some faculty are very rude and doesn't even bother about the students. They only care about themselves and yell at us. Only few faculty are like that. The labs need some improvement.
The classes need air conditioner because in summer it's very suffocating. The fans don't work properly. The windows are meant for air but no passage of air from them because the class will be crowded. The proper infrastructure for classes is needed.

Placement Experience:

Working in a reputable company. I started working in a start up in 2022. I also got a placement of 5 LPA for a role of business analyst. From 3rd year 2nd sem the placement will be started. Almost 80% from my batch got placed.

Apart from academics we have good exposure for projects and coding , every person in kmit will be aware of what the industry acrually needs
I feel like we can do a lot better when it comes to few academic faculty but as we know an academy comes with a lot of pros and cons
It is a good college actually , if you are a regular student then it will be a good choice for you but if you are lateral come preapred , learn c and python then enter tge college

Dislikes

Section division , segregation of students i missed my friends 🥲
Security gaurds oh my god 🥲, i feel like my boyfriend also will not come after me as they come 😂
I hate few faculty, no sensitiveness , pure brutal , they enourage us to take part in project school , imagineering school , finishing school and internships but they will not be liberal and want us to do good in everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually in my college when i came ihave zero knowledge about coding i was very good theoretically but practically im not that good but with consistency everything can change .. i have learn practical experience from the college and learnt a lot about machine learning, deep learning, Transformers and a lot and we will have mids for every2 months

KMIT experience

Likes

A big college campus with volleyball court and playground
There are different clubs to join and participate,we can showoff our talent
Seniors, Lectures are supportive, Sports and NCC is a additional benefit from this college

Dislikes

We'll get most of the placements with less packages
They will provide CRT training, where the lecture will not able to teach students properly
You will have limited access to the Computer lab

Placement Experience:

From third semester training for Placements will starts where we need to pay seperate fee..The students who are trained only those will be eligible to attend the interviews..I could say you will get placements with less packages..

The things i like are the curriculam and academics
The project school concept is great in our college

Dislikes

Faculty and hod they are rude and doesn't listen to us

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are pretty good and even in times like this especially in recesssion we got a good number of placements with 95% students placed in multiple companies and with highesth package of 1.2cr

The placements in the college are good and we can be placed as early as the 3rd year
The faculty in the college are very experienced and help in problems
The college is in very good location and can be accessed with bus easily

Dislikes

The college campus is very small and there will be not many activities to do in the college
The college will have on my 3 or 4 fest yearly the girls to boys ratio is 40 to 60
The college is very strict and sometime even feels like it is a school

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college Keshav memorial institute of technology is very good in the past few years and some students got good abroad packages and the average pakage has been good .If no campus placement the college provides a course and help to get job even after your graduation

The faculty provided was good they are good at teaching
We totally use laptops there is no paper work for pps and caeg
The social life is average and it's quite good

The clg is too old the reconstruction would be good
The collage life is fine we can't say too good
The first year block is too suffocating yeah

The placement of this clg is amazing int his situation also this collage didn't loose to give high placement rate and good package they maintained their average package and median package so for sure it is performing well

Not very big ground and very long hours duration in college
No cultural activities ang enjoyment only study
No sports hours seperately and also give every govt holiday

Inside of KMIT : raw opinion about my college

Likes

Faculty expertise. Faculty provides valuable mentorship.
Good infrastructure with library, sports facilities and technology for teaching.
Th college provide services in order to help in our placements. Like they provide mock interviews and questions which prepare us.

Dislikes

The inflexibility of timings. I have to attend classes and strict half day permissions.
Strict permissions for library. I have to attend classes even if I want to study in library.
Mandatory attendance of 75%. This doesn't allow me any flexibility in studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college provides a divide and teach rules. Fro that college provides three batches for skills, provides, and mock interviews respectively. This made me interested in taking the course. The curriculum is pretty good as its a project-based learning and opportunities in internships make it practical. More industry relevant courses and research opportunities would be better. Especially the research opportunities.

I liked our sweet little campus which is full of grenery and they do provide us with nice ground and courts. Faculty is very good they are supportive. We had courts like basket ball foot ball volley ball throwball badminton tabble tennis and still mo
Placements as i mentioned above it is so well maintained. Every year they are showing there efforts in getting students placed according to their capability and skills . They try to give 100% placements and most of the students are placed above 10lpa
Infrastructure is so well maintained.Course structure is nice.If you face any problem with the infrastructure it will be resolved as soon as possible.Even though campus is small management makes it more comfortable for students with various programs.

Dislikes

I didn't get any things that made me dislike something in the college expect you don't have big campuss to stroll aound. Your schedule will be very ver packed where you dont get to bunk classes(iykyk) . Strict rules and regulations are maintained.

There are campus placements in my college and they do offer good packages From 3rd year that is from 5th or 6th semester students eligible for the campus placements Faculty helps us make some projects which helps us to get the placement offers. College provides special course in 3-2 which is called finishing school where they train you exclusively for placements and make sure you get placed.I don't exactly know how many companies visit our college but over 150 companies visited our campus last academic year Highest package last year is 1.2 crore per annum And the average package is 10 lakh per annum 1.2 crore was an abroad offer which is in euros Over 85 percentage people are getting placed every year My plans after getting my degree is to do job for 2 to 3 years and earn the money which is required for the future studies like master of sciences I'm more interested in remote jobs where I can work for abroad companies being in my hometown itself which makes my life much more easier
