KSR College of Engineering UG Eligibility

Candidates must have passed HSC Academia with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or HSC Vocational in relevant discipline with 45% marks (40% marks for other Reserved categories) in order to apply for BE/B.Tech course.

For admission into BE/B.Tech Lateral, candidates must have 3-years Diploma in Engineering with 45% marks (40% marks for other Reserved categories)

KSR College of Engineering UG Selection Criteria

At first, candidates need to register on the TNEA portal after which they have to be present for document verification on any of the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) along with their original documents and set of photocopies.
Upon successful verification, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Applicants will be grouped on the basis of their rank and each group needs to participate in the TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University.
There will be around 4-5 rounds of the counselling for which candidates have to login into the TNEA portal using his/her user ID and Password.
For each round of counselling, a list of eligible candidates will be published on the portal and such candidates need to pay an initial amount of INR 5000/- (INR 1000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates of Tamil Nadu only).
After payment, candidates need to fill the choice of college and course.
Three days are provided to candidates for filling the choice from the commencement of round.
Once the choices are filled, students need to lock them on the third day of the commencement of the counselling round.
Now tentative seat allotment will be done based on the rank and choices filled by an individual.
After tentative allotment, candidates need to confirm, decline or reject the allotment.
Now based on the option selected and rank obtained, the system will allot seats to candidates.
After the final allotment, students need to report to the college on or before the last date as mentioned on the Allotment Letter to remit the remaining fees.

Applicants who desire to apply for the BE or B.Tech need to follow certain steps which are mentioned as follows:

Visit the official website of TNEA.
Register yourself by providing a username and password.
Now login with the above credentials to fill the online application form.
Enter all the necessary details and fill the preferred TFC for document verification.
Make payment of INR 500/- (INR 250/- for SC/SCA/ST categories) and then submit the form.
After successful registration, you will receive a PDF document through the TNEA Application Processing System.
Take a printout of the same and affix a recent passport size photograph.
This printout has to be submitted at the TFC during the verification time.

NOTE - An E-Call letter will be available on the official website of TNEA which will contain date, time and address of TFC. An email and SMS will also be sent to registered candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid:

During my course period yearly i paid 74000 as college fees for Automobile engineering and for hostel 54000. The college fees included all fees which consist of tution fees , registration fees , admission fees etc .
