- The best thing i liked about this college was its faculties . All the faculties were so friendly also helped us a lot during our final year project days
- The main reason for me to join this college was they have a dedicated racing team for baja and gokarts.
- The boys to girls ratio girls are more in compared to boys
Dislikes
- We cant take our bikes or cars inside the campus . The campus was so big we needed to walk more 15 minutes to get to the main from our hostel
- The security staff or IT staffs behaviour is like they are soldiers near the indian border
- Have more cameras than security staff nearby every single gate
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was a little bit easy as compared to others a i was very fond of automobiles , That was the main reason for me to take this branch and choose this college. The only thing i would say need to improve is non core staffs who are a little bit tough . The exam timings and scheduling were so good that every year we were able plan accordingly. This helped us a lot during our semester exams
Internships Opportunities
I studied Automobile engineering in KSR and we had ashokleyland for internship.No stipend was given but we were able to learn a lot. The final year project was so helpfull as the faculties were always by our side
Placement Experience
From 6th semester onwards students were provided with placement details. The in charge will provide you step by step process of what to do . Also if you have any supply or arrears the faculty will also update you if any company has come who accpets arrears or supply's The companies that visited for my department was TVS , Hyundai , Kia .
Fees and Financial Aid
During my course period yearly i paid 74000 as college fees for Automobile engineering and for hostel 54000. The college fees included all fees which consist of tution fees , registration fees , admission fees etc .
Campus Life
The tech festivals were soo good as all the students enjoyed being there. Also each every single department conducted national level symposiums which had lot of activities and quiz competetions.The lab infratructure is best in class
Hostel Facilities
The hostel consist of 4 floors each with respective year students. We had 4 times food ehich included evening snacks also. Weekly once we had chicken which was on wednesday. The hostel was a little bit expensive as compare to the infrastructure and food.
Admission
During that i shortlisted 4 engineering colleges which include excel college , Mahindra college, bannariamman and KSR . Only KSR was having Automobile Engineering during that time . i didnt get any rejection from any of these colleges . The admission process of ksr college was so easy that you will be guided by a dedicated faculty through out the process. Also they arrange a bus tour service for both students and parents inside the campus showing various departments . They also provided us lunch from the hostel during that day
Faculty
KSR College of Engineering is an Autonomous college . The faculty members in my department was super friendly and even helped us in all troubled situations. Mainly Basker sir who teaches mathematics is a gem still i am respectfull to that man for my career
Interview Experience
No there was no exams or anything for the management seats . The admission was so easy as we were able to submit all the documents and processes easily . The admission faculties were also friendly and even gave us a complete campus tour.
Night Life
The cafterias inside the campus will be open upto 5pm but the boys hostel students can go outside and in time time 8pm. There qas 2 gym facilities one is paid but the students who are in sports can avail it freely where we had a gym in boys hostel but was a small one.
