Their is knowledgeable and supportive faculty members at jngec who are dedicated to helping students succeed in their academic pursuits.
Our campus life is way better than i think we have a very attractive view from college of sundernagar city from here and for social aspects there are many clubs are formed by which students can express their talent
Firstly,the hpcet will taken by hptu and after result counselling dated announed by college around 2000 rupees charge for counseling.the counselling is at hptu hamirpur.the sc/st have great benefit in councelling.the higher rankers select their own branch easily .

Dislikes

The very first thing I don't like about this college, is there no proper ground provided for performing any sports activity. College ground is approximately 3km far from college and that is located near the polytechnic college.
It take quite sometime to reach city from college. Eventhough it's distance not that much walking feels exhausting.
If you are not very fond of walking and you're a non-hosteller, get your bags packed and be ready to trek everyday.

College is located at very beautiful destination and has great view of its surroundings. I
The hostel is very near which is very good for hostellers as they can easily reach college and can schedule themselves according to themselves.
Most good part is essential friends those are very essential part of college life.

Dislikes

College has poor road connectivity and almost the road is closed on the name of construction work for more than 6 months.
The guards,mess management and various other higher authorities are very bad and are highly arrogant.
Very less functions or any other events are organised for past 3 semester we have only celebrated Holi and teachers day but no other event is being organised by college authorities main event called as twask has not been organised since 2 years.

7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

College campus is very good . It is situated on the top so the view of mountains is very nice.
Teachers are really good and helpful. . . .
Hostel facility is also provided by the College.

Dislikes

In a week, from Monday to Saturday there are classes. There are very few holidays

Placement Experience:

There are many companies visited our college. Last year 12 lacks per annum package offered to a student. Percentage of students get placed is not good. But if you hard work then you will get a good placei.

Affordable college in the mountains with good facilities

Likes

The weather and view from the college is very good sundernagar lake and nearby mountains elevates the view
College canteen is fairly affordable and and has high quality items and prices are also reasonable
Labs of college are well equipped with the needed tools and equipments

Dislikes

The teaching style of some of the AP's can be a bit subjective
The college is situated at a height from the main city which results in less options for shops and only 3-4 shops are near without climbing up or down
The fests and events are there but are less in frequency

Placement Experience:

In campus placements are pretty good and many companies visit the campus for placements Students get packages according to their skills and merits Highest package of ece branch was around 22lakhs per annum and average is nearly 5-6 lakhs per annum Most of the students get placements and many opt for higher studies My plan is to do mba after btech degree
