Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Remarks:

I surely did my research before joining this college. And in my research I found out that this has one of the best campus placement among the private colleges. Also being a private college it had a wider reach for companies. That alone impressed me to join the college. And I wanted to experience the hostel life.

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit every year this college but the IT sector is good in this college WIPRO, INFOSYS, and many small IT sector company visit and the Chemical department companies are very good they visit every year and take all students from here .and all other departments her are good but not so good as I have listed above.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here generally is fairly good. However, in the IT sector, there is much scope for placements as more than 75% of the students usually get placed. The lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA and the average salary package offered is nearly about 4.5 LPA. Roles offered in the IT sector depend on your merit. You could be offered as a system engineer or a system developer or a professional programmer.

A College,full of life

Remarks:

The college is quite good, i won't say its best. In terms of making memories and enjoying college life, it's best. It is also very good in organising workshops and cultural activities. But the facultiesbare not that good and i would say it is lacking a bit in terms of academics.But overall it is quite good.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
