Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

My college

Placement Experience:

Companies that visit are TCS, Wipro, cognizant, etc. The highest package is 40 lakh whereas a minimum of 4 lakhs. Campus placement is good and satisfactory. I don't have planned much about what to do after getting a degree, instead, let me enhance my skills first.

Placement Experience:

The Haldia institute of technology is a very good private college for students with a great placement in the computer science branch and with great faculty members. It provides an average placement of 90% with an average package of 4.5-5 lakhs.

I chose this course as it is becoming more technically advanced in the upcoming years. The teacher in HIT is well qualified as well as supportive in nature. In a class, there is 60-65 student. Semester exams and tests are taken in order to check students' performance in the week as well as in the term.

Third year is the time when you are eligible for the campus placement. TCS, Wipro, Mahindra and many more companies come to our college. the placements scenes are pretty much great here. 90 percent of the students get placed in the technical branch.

The placement of CSE and IT are the best. Chemical Engineering placement is 100% . The companies like Infosys,wipro start coming in the college for the students of third year at the end of the year . About 85% eligible students get palced . The average package is about 4 lakhs and highest is 8 lakh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been given this course through counselling of the West Bengal joint entrance examination. One of the main reasons to choose this course is that there is 100% placement from the chemical engineering department. The faculty members are highly qualified and are very friendly to solve the doubts of students. The faculty members take the class test from time to time in class but sometimes there is some difficulty to understand the language Bengali as all the teachers and faculty members are Bengali. The exam is on the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professors here are highly educated but there is some problems due to the language spoken . Most of the teachers here are professors and assistant professors. two semester exams are conducted every year and mid sems are also conducted in each sem . The exams are easy to pass .

You get eligible for campus placements in the third year. companies start coming from 6 semesters only. There are a decent amount of companies come to our college like TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, and many more. most of the students get placed in the technical branch. I will do job after the degree.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
