The admission is through the West Bengal joint entrance examination. The admission Faculty were very much supportive. I have taken admission through the West Bengal joint entrance exam. The whole admission process was through the online method. There is no reservation for outsiders from West Bengal, but if you have citizenship of west Bengal then you should get some reservation benefits. Yes, I want the college authorities to make the admission process online due to covid-19.

I have been given this course through counselling of the West Bengal joint entrance examination. One of the main reasons to choose this course is that there is 100% placement from the chemical engineering department. The faculty members are highly qualified and are very friendly to solve the doubts of students. The faculty members take the class test from time to time in class but sometimes there is some difficulty to understand the language Bengali as all the teachers and faculty members are Bengali. The exam is on the time.

The fee structure of HIT is around 85 thousand per year if you have not taken hostel. the hostel amount per year is 24 thousand. The scholarship is being provided only if you get the highest marks continuously in two semesters means 1 year. But I think there is no use of scholarship because it is difficult to achieve heights marks in two semester. Financially the college is good because it has fewer fees than other colleges in West Bengal. till now I haven't got the job because I am in 3 years. But at the end of the 3rd year, the companies come to recruit students.

Let's talk about or campus which is bigger than other colleges in West Bengal. There is 3 big ground on which the cricket and football tournaments is being organised. the name of the Annual fest of the Haldia Institute Of Technology is Prayukti, which is being organised in the month of March. in every class, there is a smartboard and one display for presenting study material. Every year there is a cricket and football tournament and there is an annual sports day in which different types of sports are being played like long jump, relay race, and many more. Samarpan, Needs, HIT Inside are some of the social groups of our college. ACM, IEEE, and many more like this are clubs that organise workshops on the various latest topic. Other than this our college has a cultural club. These all are run by the students of different branches.
