College and experienced staff allow them to test their abilities until they realize what they're best in.
Also there is a gym facility which is a very nice option for a student to work on body fitness.
Faculty is very good got to learn so many things from them and our alumni

Dislikes

Mess food quality is not much good sometimes better some te worst
College boundary is too small like it doesn't look like a college
There is very less interaction with students who couldn't find their enthusiasmic fields

Likes

If you want to start something you can do as there is no college pressure,
Examinations are easy you can easily get good marks by just solving PYQ.
Good for sports you can excel in any sport if you want carrier in those fields.

Dislikes

lack of competitions in core branches such as civil , mechanical and electrical.
Professors needs to be upgraded as they are mostly alumni of this college.
Lacks in infrastructure development comparing to its peer colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Best engineering college in ludhiana

I like the infrastructure of the college the most it has a very ambient vibes
I also like the peer to peer interactions as it helps me gain knowledge in various fields
I like the academic faculty of gndec as it is very polite and knowledgeable with great problem solving skills

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that the cleanliness is not maintained in water tanks

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester or 4th year students get eligible for campus placements and companies like infosys, wipro, TCS,IBM and tech mahindra visit gndec for placements and in 2022-2023 632 students were placed with a median salary of about 4.75 LPA. Around 80% of students get placements via gndec which is a huge number. My plans after getting the degree is to become skilled in various fields and apply for jobs which are suitable for me

College having a big capus area ........
Ratio of boys and girls are equal almost.
Lab and the workshop is very good at college.

Dislikes

All the professor ars punjabi and some of only done m.tech
At some point may you feel descrimi ation.
Hostel rivalry is not there also raging is not there

Placement Experience:

In this college if you pursuing b.tech in Mechanical department you will get definitely you will plessed by the college because in Ludhiana there are many more local companies who are hiding from Gionee and also from this college you may placed in vm's like a family limited Hyundai Honda

nothings just a review

Likes

environment is very good here lot of greenery and a very huge campus of college
there is different hostel for every year and each hostel have its own mess
sports facility is excellent here we can play every sports and equipments are easily available

Dislikes

there is no hospital or mall nearyby as it is almost at the edge of city
traffic management is not much good here
security is a little bit concerned for the hostel students and they can improve there hostels as well

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem a student can apply for placements highest is approx 20lakhs average is near about 5lakhs i will preferr for higher studies there are lot companies like samsung ,tcs ,infosys , wipro,L&T, airtel etc

Faculty of the college especially mechanical department and other core branches. And availability of options i.e. The college has architecture department also
Placement process of the college is very good and transparent unlike other colleges where they take money from students for the sake of placements
Exams are quite easy to clear in college as syllabus is easy and if you regularly attend classes you'll know what exactly to study and can prepare very easily.

Dislikes

Hostel timings for girls are worse. The hostel authorities treat female students as prisoners in the name of safety whereas there're no such restrictions on boys.
Traditional methods of teaching. The curriculum needs to be upgraded to bring in more practical knowledge than the book cramming.
We had zero industrial visits in 4 years which is the worse things of all . As an engineering college it is a colleges responsibility to provide students with exposure to the industry.

Placement Experience:

A number of reputed companies come to college for the placements for both circuit and core branches. big giants like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT come to college but many other small companies which offer higher packages come to college for placement. And similarly for core branches L&T, SML , Hero Ecotech, Ralson, MRF, Cargill, Hero motocorp visit the campus. Pool campus drives for companies like samsung and Amazon are also confucted for the students .

The teachers are very supportive and of kind nature
Core branches faculty are highly knowledgeable here

Dislikes

The teaching quality is not upto the mark because of following the same previous curriculum from 2000's.
The support for placements is not provided upto that level by college authorites

Placement Experience:

The placement strategy followed by college is not good. Students are approaching the companies , college alumani can be there to help but that opportunity is not really utilized . There only 3-4 faculty alloted to Placement cell .

The Placements Of Our College Are Pretty Good. An Average Package Of Our College Placement Is Minimum Around 3LPA. During 7th Semester, Students Are Eligible For Campus Placemets. The Highest Package Of Our College Was In Microsoft With Around 50LPA.

Likes

The college experience I will be most thankful for is the opportunity to better myself through education, forming relationships, and experience with the real world and how people relate with one another
My engagement with campus life is good and quality of social interaction is excellent
The faculty are good they help every time to solve the issue and training and placement cell of the college is good they update the students time to time and prepare for interview

Dislikes

College is good but not good for other states students because partiality is done in our college because
Management of the college is not good as compared to other colleges
Security issues in hostel Guard are not maintained carefully

Placement Experience:

In 6 semester students are eligible for placement many reputed company are comes like Infosys ,TCS ,Tata, L&T , Wipro, Airtel, Samsung offer package of 10LPA The highest package of the college is 16LPA The percentage of students get placed is 75 % My Plan after degree is to work in mnc

College has a supportive staff and experienced professors with PHD and post graduation.
Facilities of training and placement cell which help students enhance their personality
Decent placements in all branches including core branches also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is up to date according to the new technologies. Many new technologies like devops are also included in the curriculum. There are 2 MSTs and one ESEs for a subject in the semester and there are 5-6 subjects per semester

Firstly thats an Engineering college so everyone has to spend their first year in applied sciences department to clear basics and learn everytype of skills required , so the basics were delivered so efficiently,faculty actually made you learn things.
Basics delivered clearly would really help for another 3 years and its very easy to get familiar with college campus and social interactions are based on the person himself , if he/she can makeout , things are too easy
Faculty provide a great mentorship and career advices , they organise a 20day induction program just to mentor the students efficiently

Dislikes

infrastructure is way too Old , though those things dont get bad but they look shabby
Classes are not air conditioned which make difficult in summers
they just need to work on the whole infrastructure , amke it new , walls get painted , rooms get AC's , things would be better than ever

Placement Experience:

Placements do happen , but its the student whose capability matters , the faculty prepares you well , takes you to the recruiters , afterwards its your ettiques and capabilities , skills that will take you to companies , students are eligible from 7-8 semester , average package is 3.5 lakhs while highest went upto 51 lakh , before i get my degree , i will be an intern in amy comapany gaining experience and gaining it until i get a good Job.
