My college my experience

Likes

The canteen and classrooms were all good and student friendly
They conduct events and competitions every year which helps students to explore their interests
The teachers and workers are friendly with students helping them to express themselves completely

Dislikes

Some of the rooms are not ventilated and power will go often in the college
The waiting time for food in the canteen is too much for students
Some of the teachers are not experienced leading to difficulty in teaching

An overview of GVP

Likes

All your classmates will be pretty smart.
No college on weekends compared to other college where you are supposed to study even on Saturdays.
In other college they sometimes keep tests unnecessarily even when the exams are not near weekly.but here you will only have mid exams and sem exams and few assigments

Dislikes

Placements opportunities are less hardly any companies come whose packages are more than 10LPA. And those that come recruit only few.
75% attendance is mandatory inorder to sit for sem exams.
You are supposed to study on your own for placements and.interviews.they only teach you the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

I would say right from the start of 7th semester.However you should try to get placed as early as possible as not many companies visit once you are in 8th semester.I would say that nearly 15 companies visited for cs it and the packages were under 10lpa.however there are few companies that give above 10 lpa but they recruit only 1 or 2 people.For cs students it getting placed will not be a problem however you need to study well to get placed with a good package.i am thinking of getting a job after getting the degree

dont fall prey to false advertising ,learn skiils on your own

campus besides beach cool breeze and good climate
old faculty with expierence with outdated skills
gound for playing sports like cricket and basketball

Dislikes

lab equipment is not up to the mark to do practicals
no placements and no help from placements cell and displays false hoardings of campus placements
bad college atmosphere with all bad stuff and hooligans inside the colege

If you want no campus life, no placement, you're here just for a Degree then join this college

I barely liked anything at the college, I never ever liked to be at the college anyday in my whole college life because the campus life is very dull barely and extracurricular activities no proper fests just very basic college.
The meals and tifins provided in the college mess are very affordable and tastes decent.

Dislikes

The main motto of a student to join a certain college is to get a good placement for this college the main campus is the face which is GVPCE which has decent placements but this college has negligible placements.
Very poor infrastructure, no proper fests, no coding clubs, there aren't any technical hubs for the students to learn or shine their technical skills

Placement Experience:

Very bad placements, negligible placements chances are as low as it can get around 5%. TCS might be the only company that came aboard that too for the main campus GVPCE where the students from our college were selected with very high percentage of 85% where the TCS provides the range of 65% and also allows students to attend placement who has a single backlog. But our college is totally different very worse faculty for torchering students like hell.

Faculty is very friendly with our batch and they were always available to clear our doubts
The computer Labs are very comfortable to learn new things.

Dislikes

Bus availablity is less to my college. Sometimes, I used to get late for the college because of the unavailability of buses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course is very student -friendly and students feel ease in the preparation of the examinations. Students may improve communication skills and will loose the fear of talking in a huge crowd.

There are no sports curriculum in our college. But we are having annual sports.

Placement Experience:

In our college students are eligible for the placements in 3rd year second semester. The companies visited to our college are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini and many more.The highest package : 24LPA and the average package is 4.8LPA. 70% students are getting placed and the remaining students are preparing for GATE , MS. I want to get placed with a decent package.

Faculty of our college is very good. They teach well
Seniors are very friendly with us. The share their experiences with us
Library of our college is quite decent. We also have digital library.

Dislikes

Grounds are not good especially there is no indoor stadium
Auditorium is small. The chairs were not good .
Dress code for girls is very strict. The rules of the college are also strict
