Best college in Andhra Pradesh

Likes

I like the food in hostel and the tiffins also Saturday food is too good
Faculty in gvp are good and friendly and also sometimes strict
Also they allow us to do projects the real time work

Dislikes

Our college is too small in area and the labs are small
Sometimes attendance is highly monitored mainly in electronics department
There are very less number of fests the enjoyment is too less

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in computer science department and the placements are some what low in the core branches highest package is around fifty lakhs per year and many good companies like Amazon will visit to the college

Better college for your b.tech

Likes

Peaceful and green environment with lots of trees and plants
Huge play ground which is equipped with fields for different games
Good interaction with faculty and seniors .

Dislikes

No fests and any celebrations in the college
Food in the hostel is good but not soo good
College is very strict and you are not allowed to wear any Western outfits

Placement Experience:

As for the placements are good and as for the eligibility you can apply from 7th semester andany companies visit us and mostly tcs and cognizant and many more companies come here the offers will be more than 1500 per year .

We have labs ... We have Great faculty they are so motivative
Games are their for girls .. We have a big library
Fests and cultural activities motivation sections yoga all are their

Dislikes

Noting is thier we have liked all the things
Nothing is thier we have liked all the things

Fees and Financial Aid:

We have to pay 150000 and for me I was staying ph that was 5000 . Course is nice for the future . Scholarship is coming 5000 . No changes in course because we written EAMCET for this chemical engeneering

It's a good college overall for placements, internships but not for events

Likes

The things i personaly liked this college is timing because of these timings we can catch buses and we can go home safely
And every Saturday is holiday timings and every Saturday is holiday
The labs I liked every much and lab assistant are very helpful if we have any doubt about any experiment they will help us

Dislikes

There is no fests no culture events are not done for year only 2 events done
No sports, and nk other cultures clubs are not there
No proper clubs and only few cubs are available which are not useful for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm interested in mechanical engineering and this college has a good facilities and nice labs and etc.. these are some aspects to join to choose this course in this college the curriculum prepares takes a real-world applications and explains to students so then can easily understand it

Likes

Timings of our college is relevant and good for every student.
Subjects and courses are relevent and will be useful.
College life is good along with friends.

Dislikes

No regular fests or events for enjoyment for sutdents
Limited foods in canteen with less supplies
Hostel has only vegetarian menu if you are a non vegetarian then you should not prefer college hostel

Placement Experience:

The placements and companies depend according to your courses and knowledge.some companies like amazon Microsoft capgemini wipro Infosys etc have come for campus placements. Most of the students will get campus placements

small college but not small knowledge

Likes

I like library for its maintenance and various resources.
faculty play a important role in the college there are all professors and assistant professors, with good teaching skills
infrastructure of the college , it has beautiful garden and sports ground.

Dislikes

maintenance of the classrooms is little bit down
I exams and assignments are quite hard for the student to manage
it is not a autonomous for our batch but our juniors are having autonomous

Placement Experience:

actually our college is meant for placements but after covid 19 , it is not as same as we thought but there are slight decrease in the rate of employement from our college , but our placements team and the coordinators are doing they best to get the companies to our college, now it is reconstructing its name as known for placements.

The college experience was good

Likes

college timings from 8:40 to 2:30 which allows to do other works
The freedom given by the campus you can enter and leave the campus at any time
There is full of greenary in the campus.The campus is very neat and clean

Dislikes

Campus is very small compared to other colleges
The canteen food which is not good and prices or high
There are no sports club or ncc in the college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements.A lot of companies like tcs,wipro and many other visit and offers placements frequently.The highest package offered was nearly around 45lpa and more than 70% of students are getting placed.

An overview of GVP

Likes

All your classmates will be pretty smart.
No college on weekends compared to other college where you are supposed to study even on Saturdays.
In other college they sometimes keep tests unnecessarily even when the exams are not near weekly.but here you will only have mid exams and sem exams and few assigments

Dislikes

Placements opportunities are less hardly any companies come whose packages are more than 10LPA. And those that come recruit only few.
75% attendance is mandatory inorder to sit for sem exams.
You are supposed to study on your own for placements and.interviews.they only teach you the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

I would say right from the start of 7th semester.However you should try to get placed as early as possible as not many companies visit once you are in 8th semester.I would say that nearly 15 companies visited for cs it and the packages were under 10lpa.however there are few companies that give above 10 lpa but they recruit only 1 or 2 people.For cs students it getting placed will not be a problem however you need to study well to get placed with a good package.i am thinking of getting a job after getting the degree

My opinion about gvpce

Likes

I liked many things like it has good timings .class work starts at morning 8 40 and ends at evening 2 30 pm
So my college is giving many opportunities like we can show up our talent games as well as inthe studies also .
It has good faculty facilities and nice and big ground also which is really appreciable .

Dislikes

There are few like less students in the campus which is so e what disappointing.
And less ac facility.in only labs we can see our lab facility.no ac i n the class rooms
The infra structure of my college is not good as many colleges like it has total of 4 flours only and nearly of 4 to 5 blocks.

Placement Experience:

So placements happend in my college recently like frew months ago . Compares to last year i think placements are increasing.which is good to me . From after completing 5 th semester we are eligible for placement s. Vipro ,tcs ,tec mahindra.visited Nearly the students having 8to 9 cgpa are having good placements. My plans are writing gate exam .and many yet to be decided.

The quality of the faculty is good but the quantity cam be better.
Extracurricular participation is encouraged
There is huge support provided for research and development , startup ideas , there is dedicated experianced faculty for that as well.

Dislikes

The labs and the syllabus was outdated wnd is not on par with the current technology
We cant get enough of freedom and time to explore our intrests
Time tables will be hetic and the whole time is wasted on conpleting the outdated syllabus and student cannot get the time to invest more on his interests

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered in a good way eveyone e ho doesn't have sny backlogs can get placed at a minimum averegae ctc of 4 lpa if he is from CSC, ECE, EEE, Mech . After getting a placement the department will concerntrate more ok those who haven't received any offer and prefer them for the remaining companies and exckudes all the candidates who secured offers, this can help everyone secure a placement either a good or a bad one.
