I choose MCA as to complete my post-graduation degree for galgotia college. The best things about the course is that it gives knowledge about computer and its technologies. 63 students are in the course. Teacher are qualified and knowledgeable but not helpful. As we are attending online classes and their no better ways to get eachother or can say lack of communication. The teaching quality is average. Semester exams are easier and are happen per semester with two sessionls but semester exams are easier if I compare to internals. They take lot of sessionals that student himself get perfered for semester exams. 40% is the passing percentage I guess.

The college is almost good in every aspects if I talk about placement then it is good. The admission process is through uptu counselling and dates are in around July and august month. The main reason for taking admission in this college is all about the location of this college as we know the location of this college is in main greater noida and placement is also almost good.

I choose this course because of my interest and it's scope in future too. I am highly interested in mathematics and programming that made me to choose CSE. Faculty : student ratio will be about 1:7 but i am not sure about that but if we talk about faculty then they are very very cool. They are highly educated, most of them are PHD holders and others are MTECH graduate. I will give 10/10 in this section because faculty members are very helpful and they are ready to clear students doubt even after college and their behaviour is so friendly. It is not difficult to pass in exams because college conduct test or quiz and sessional exams in weekly and monthly basis so students get easily prepared for their semester exams. So in conducting lectures, solving doubts and conducting regular test this college is best. Even in this covid situation college conducted regular classes and tests. Classes timing is from 9:30 AM to 5PM as per schedule and students get informed by groups if there is any test.

A lot of companies came in our college they were of approx hundred in numbers some of them were giving more than 10 lacs per annum and the average one where between 3 to 6 lacs per annum mostly on the students were placed and those who weren't placed features were taking interest and helping them by giving them more opportunities like off-campus placement so overall the placement wise college is good.

Placements are good in GCET, Although they vary from time to time. For placements, students are eligible from the 7th Sem. Companies like Direct-I, Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. all visited the campus. The highest package I now am 21LPA buy it can be more. And except recession 60-70%, people are placed. Rest it all depends on students as well.

Almost everybody gets placed who wanted to get placed the ones who went for the higher study did not take placement are the only ones who did not get placed by the college otherwise college has the potential to get placed 100% student the average package that gets is 3.5 lakhs. The eligibility criteria to get placement is 60% marks minimum in all your academic years. The companies that visited Galgotia for placement are HP, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Mahindra and many more the highest package offered was by HSBC for girls is 8 lakhs per year. My plans after getting the degree were to get placed in any big company and different skills.

You can sit in placements from 4th year, there are some companies which visit during starting of the year and some visits during the end of the year. During my batch, the highest average package was 3 LPA.

Campus placements started from the 7th semester during my time. A lot of companies visited. Notable mentions were Amazon and Directi. Although the vast majority of students were selected by service-based companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and TCS.

Students can apply for jobs in the 7th semester for campus placements. Companies visited as Infosys, Samsung, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, etc Highest package: 24 lacs Amazon for SDE role Average package : 3.5 lacs Percentage of students: 95%

From the third year or I can say from 6th sem students starts getting placed. TCS and Wipro are the main companies to visit in ours. The highest package as I came to know was 25 LPA for a CSE student. In the CSE branch, almost all the students get placed. After getting the degree I would surely go for any government exam.
