GCET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Galgotias college provide great placements for CSE and IT students( I don't know about others). Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cvent, Amazon, Mphasis visit our college and provides the average package of 500000. The highest package is around 30 to 35L offered by Amazon! Nearly 90 to 95% students are placed from top branches!

I I won't say that Galgotias University has good placements. You may say that it is has fine (average) placements. Normally students are recruited in mass by companies like Infosys, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahendra, Wipro etc. For mass recruiting companies, packages are in the range of 3.25–4 lacs per annum. Most of the companies come for recruitment belongs to IT background. Although they hire students from all the branches like CSE, ECE, EE, ME etc. Very few companies come for EE, ME, CE, ECE.

Placements are quite impressive with placement ranging between 5-20 LPA and with an average of 5 lakh. Most of the mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture visit the colleges with an average of about 100-150 offers. About 95% of the students get placed every year.

The placement is good enough. You have to give more effort to your skills to get a good placement. Average package 4.5 lakh per annum. For placement purposes, you should talk to seniors of the college.

The fees structure is quite feasible as compared to other colleges in the region. B.tech fee is around 1,37,000 including the examination fee. U.P. scholarship is the scholarship they provide to students. Student loans can be taken easily.

From the seventh semester students are eligible for campus placement. All the tech and service Based Company visit college and All student got package from low to High according to their knowledge and skills. Lowest 3.5 and highest package is 30 lakh by and student in Amazon.

I opt for the couse that is computer science and engineering with a specialization in data science because this course has lots of opportunities in the coming future. Faculty to student ratio is approx 1:8. All the teachers are highly qualified with the experience of 4-5 years in teaching.And if we talk about unit test it happens from time to time like unit test every month and there is university exam for the endsem that happens every 6 month in the course of 4 year.and class quiz happens time to time like once or twice a week.

Students are eligible for placements during and after the 7th semester. There are plenty of companies that visit our college some of them are TCS, Infosys, Wipro. The total no. of offers made by visiting companies are 250+. The highest package is Rs 30 LPA and the average package is Rs 4LPA. Almost 100% of students get placed and some of them move for higher studies. I am currently undecided about what I will do after getting my degree.

For the 6th semester student become eligible for the placement. Many companies come each years like Amazon and also mass recuriters like Wipro,HCL etc .Higest pakage on campus was around 12.4 lakhs and off campus it was 30.5 lakhs and the average package is around 4-4.5 lakhs.
