GCET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement is good at our campus, almost all every student is placed from all branches. The highest package is from CSE Branch. The highest package was 44 lakh known. The average package is about 4-5 lakhs and many are placed above 10 lakhs.

From 6th sem companies start recruiting. Highest package was around 9lakh and average was around 3-4.5lakh. Almost every student get placed it's depends on you how you prepare college only gives you a like a platform type.

What I have witnessed is that in the month of September 3 giant IT companies visit the campus (Infosys, Wipro and Accenture) which choose the majority of the students from the lot and many ended up getting offers from all 3 of them. These companies will offer you a CTC of 3–3.5 lakh/annum. People from all the branches sit for interviews with these tech giant companies. For CSE/IT many companies visit our campus and many pool campus drives also take place on our campus. This year, HCL made its pool campus drive. This year 2 the students were placed in the company named Zycus and were offered a package of 6 LPA. These students are from the IT branch. Other companies for the CSE and IT branches are Accenture and IBM. This year off-campus offers include from Amazon, Flipkart and Reliance(7lakh/annum). Amazon placement boy is from the EE branch.

Out of the total students, 70,80% of students get placed in companies. in 7th students are eligible for campus placements Mass recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, and many more. The highest package till now is 32 LPA by Walmart

Students from 6th semester are aligible to sit in placements. Students with active backlogs are not eligible for placements. College provieds multiple opportunities for your placement. At the end of your course college provieds an approx 100% of placement rate which is an outstanding rate.

A lot of companies comes here for mass hiring like wipro, hcl etc. And FAANG companies like Amazon also comes for hiring but it is not easy to get selected in Amazon( they give a package of 40 lakhs annually tho). If you are good at coding, you will definitely get placed easily here as a lot of opportunities college provides you here, just learn your basics good. Mostly all lf students who wants to get into a good company get placed here easily so I would say 95% of the students get easily placed. I am planning to get into a good company in the field of software engineering.

From the 7th semester onwards a student becomes eligible for campus placements provided that he/she has not to had any backlog. Many companies come for the placements like TCS, Cognizant, JSW, Wipro, Capgemini, Mindtree, etc.

Because from school level i was somehow have interest in coding and computers. Faculty student ratio in this college there is pretty good , we have large faculty members and they are experienced. The teachers are very qualified and the department of cse is cool about student's. Exams are conducted three times before semester exam , cae (continuos assistment exam) In AKTU the paper level is moderate but you have to fill the answer sheet for pass .

The course curriculum is based on assignments, CAE tests, etc and faculty members are good at communication and boosting students' knowledge skills through easy ways of learning. There is a feedback process through students to increase their capability as well as improve teaching skills for particular students as required.

I chose it as I want to pursue computer science and engineering. The faculty-student ratio is good about 20:1 . Most teachers hold Ph.D. and are highly qualified. There is a delay in our exams, but they are not too difficult to pay.
