Holder which means they have good knowledge of the subject they teach quite good and encourage students, most of the faculty are initial which is again plus point they will help you whenever you need them
Fee structure is very nominal and is constant even the middle class can take admission scholarships are the great forms of motivation which college offers for good environment and to maintain competition among youngsters
Crowd is good infrastructure is good as well us placements are good

Dislikes

Campus is not too big. lower branches placements are also not good.
There is a large crowd here and most of them are from lower branches who do not get placed.
Civil mechanical branch are not getting good package in collage olacemt ratio are very bad

College life and it's reality

Likes

Good facilities and faculties and experienced teachers
Low fees and no discrimination on the basis of caste
Friendly and supportive seniors and good classmates

Dislikes

Not good girl to boy ratio as it is 1:7 so not much female interaction
Classrooms are old fashioned and ac does not work
Lab machine's are old and sometimes not work properly

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

Likes

The faculties are very knowledgeable and supportive
The facilities around are good and enough for what you are paying
The college fests and events are very good

Dislikes

The ratio of boys to girls are like 6:1 which can be a little upsetting for some people
The air conditioners and projecter need to be worked on

The course curriculum is well designed and proper lile any course should be, the academic experience it provides is enough to be for the real world. They do 3 exams before the semester AKTU exams which are perfect for the preparation for it.

Likes

Teacher's are pretty supportive and good
Infrastructure and greenery is good and i liked it
The vibe is good seniors are chill that's also a plus point

Dislikes

Pretty hectic schedule which i hated since beginning
Lot of assignment are not helping us either
It's not like we are living college life it's more like a school

Placement Experience:

Placement ls are pretty decent as per the recession but still not that impressive i will say 50% students are getting placed till now but i can say the placement are still not normal so at this time we can hope for the best

The pros and cons of galgotias college of engineering and technology

Likes

The crowd of the college is very good many students are from Uttar Pradesh and some are from different states
The canteen in college is also very good and all types of food are available
The placements are average as there is in any other college in greater Noida

Dislikes

Some teachers are not very friendly and strict others are good
There is no facility for sports for first year students

The curriculum is followed of aktu college doens't have any curriculum of its own icmt cannot make any decisions without approval of aktu. Exams are conducted after every 1.5 months. The teaching techniques of some teachers should be improved

Galgotias college of engineering , a better option among private colleges

Likes

Collage has great infrastructure and faculties
College has decent placement and internship opportunities
Faculties are very friendly and well educated

Dislikes

Old and outdated Curriculum and syllabus
9 am to 5 pm college schedule and many periods
Strikness in attendance criteria of 75% , some which leads to detaining students

Placement of galgotias college of engineering and technology is decent it's highest placement went 1.5cr and average placement goes to 7-8 Lpa. College helps students to grab better placement and internships

About Galgotia institute of engineering and technology

Likes

I like the college campus and sports ground very much as they are completely green.
The teachers here are very supportive, they support you all the time
The best thing here is that freshers do not face ragging

Dislikes

If you don't like anything here then the 1st year students have to face the problem of attendance
And here the ground is made wet for two days in a week or it is not right because if the whole ground remains wet then there is a problem
All the labs here are very good, but some more equipment needs to be brought to some labs

Placement are good. Generally the placement go around 7 lpa for cse. About 90% student get placed. Many big companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft etc come here for recruitment for their company. Everything is good

Nice college for MCA

Likes

Good games active and clubs for participating
Nice area and location in greater noida.
Best college in greater noida and Delhi ncr .

Dislikes

Hostel mess are not so good. And hostel rooms.
Teachers are not teach us very well .....
Placement department could be better.....

Placement Experience:

Semester 3 you can get internship and job opportunities as there are many company visit in our campus .you can not expected high packages .4LPA is the average package offered . They provide 90% placement.

"A Comprehensive Review of Campus Life, Placements, and Internships at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology"

Likes

The faculty of our college is very friendly they support the children in every possible way and listen there perspective.
The distance between classes is very less and the facilities like chemistry lab graphics lab extra are very decent.
There is no discrimination in college regarding religion and castes and there is also no ragging.

Dislikes

They don't give in campus hostel to the students coming through counseling they give only to direct and management quota students.
The auditorium of the college is not very much big it can only accomodate arround 300 students at a time.
The AC those not work properly and for a room consisting of 73 students the AC ton is not sufficient.

Placement Experience:

The placement of galgotia college of engineering and technology is quite good as in non core branches the average package is about 5 lakhs rupees which is provided by decent companies and some MNC company . For core the average package is about 7-9 lakh per annum and the highest placement for non core is about 24 lakh -30 lakh and for core 33 lakh to 45 lakhs. Few time the placement of some students touched 1 -1.5 CR.

The Infrastructure of the college is good and very well maintained,well equipped labs, ac equipped classroomswell maintained libraries, well maintained sports ground and equipments, in campus canteen facility and free wifi facility in whole campus.
Very Supportive and experienced facility, many of faculties are PhD holders which increase there credibility
Many active clubs and organizations are there in campus which improves personality of a individual, different types of fest also happens in college, different types of events and competition like hackathons,sports tournament,cultural events going on

Dislikes

The placement of the college is average and in core branches like mechanical, civil etc placement are very bad , internship facilities are very limited provided by the college
Syallabus is very outdated, lack of research facilities, college have very average computer but manageable,
Senior and junior interaction is very bad in first year, no ecosystem for startups and entrepreneurship

Placement Experience:

Students after completing 6th semester they are eligible for the pre placement and after completing the 7th semester they are eligible for the campus placements.The total companies comes for campus placement is 117 (in 2023) for BTECH students and the major companies in campus placement are Cognizant , Newgen ,TCS ,Mindtree, Accenture,etc . The total offer given by the 117 companies are 805 offers. The average package(in 2023) of GECT is 5 lpa and the highest packages(in 2023) are 45 lpa(off-campus) and 10 lpa (in campus). Around 90% students are placed in campus placement.I am currently in first year so my plans after the degree is not prepared because I am exploring different fields and skills and finding my interest in it.

If there is anything I don't like about this college, it is attendance because in the first year you have a lot of pressure on attendance.75 percent is compulsory It doesn't matter much in the 2nd year but in the first year you have all the practical
And here I don't like that the ground is kept wet for 3 days in a week Not all the ground, but some ground Due to being wet you have to take another longer route. Change the block
All the faculties here are good but there are some faculties who have a lot of knowledge but their way of presenting it is not right, they are not able to express it I do not understand that lecture
