GCET Scholarship
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Merit Based Scholarship | The University offers Merit Scholarships to reward academic excellence among second, third, fourth, and fifth-year students, based on their CGPA at the end of each academic year. The scholarships are awarded to the top three rankers in each batch and programme, provided they have passed all examinations on their first attempt. The number of scholarships granted depends on the number of students appearing in the semester or year-end examinations: one scholarship for 1-30 students, two scholarships for 31-120 students, and three scholarships for more than 120 students. The scholarship amount is set at 30% of the tuition fee for the following year and is rounded to the next multiple of Rs. 100/-.The scholarship will be adjusted in the subsequent year's fee installment. However, it can be discontinued if the student is found guilty of unfair practices in exams, or if the Head of the Department reports charges such as misconduct, misbehavior, gross indiscipline, ragging, or involvement with drugs or narcotics. In such cases, the scholarship will be discontinued with effect from the date approved by the Vice Chancellor. |
