GITAM School of Technology Visakhapatnam Faculty

There are approx 200 faculties alone for the computer science department itself , so I think there are more than enough faculties than needed in my opinion. There will be three mid exams and one semi exam per semester. And the difficulty of the exams are not too difficult. But if you study well enough, then you are more than good.

The students are easily approachable to the faculties at any college timings. The faculty rooms are large and anyone who want to contact them can easily approach. There are approx 500 faculties in my department which can be accessible in faculty portal. I like Boddu Vikas Sir who taught me python in the first year which gave me confidence to learn coding and secure a job in an MNC.Some faculties are not good and somewhat psychoic in nature and wants us to roam around them to get the job done.There will be 5-8 written exams and praticals for every sem and the difficulty level is easy and can be get rid of them by studying the night before.

Faculty and student ratio is good having very good faculty ratio and approach is also good and the faculty everyone is having good knowledge and good in teaching and for exams the teaching seems good with some subjects and with other subjects it is too hard for us and this is one too good and maintain for the marking schemes

Most of the faculty members here are highly qualified who have done theri MS and PhD's in IIT,s and other well known universities. The course structure is designed to align with industry standards, often offering electives for flexibility and student typically face midterm, finals, assignments with difficulty varying by course and professor

The faculty and students relationship is good but the way students treat them ,sometimes isnot good.teachers should take strict actions .it should depend on the background of the student.and the students should be told strictly that they have to be disciplined. I like all the language faculties.and my maths sir Suresh sir.he is just superbb ..he helps us a lot . The exams are easy not much difficult.maximum students pass in the exams .the curriculum is also relevant .

1:15 was the ratio of faculty-to-student. The faculty was friendly to students so students can easily ask doubts to the faculty and they were approachable in there cabin. As there were mostly nine subjects in a single semester. The exams will be easy or difficulty which will be depends on themself that how they would study. not much students because mostly everyone will be studying or everyone will study because they dont want to fail. the course was very relevant where the exam conduction was moderate .

Currently the Teaching faculty was Not that great I can give 3/5 cause most of the faculty are aged 50+ and they tech the subjects through their perspective but I think if the university gave chance to younger staff they bring a good impact in teaching through students perspective University is offering to choose the faculty by ourselves so that we can look into the teachers details and choose the person we like the most Many of the teachers are cool and interactive with students if we have doubts or issues in our academic year they help us to sort with their experience

In GITAM we have faculty around 750+, highly qualified and well dignified. Regardless of the degrees of them, they manage to get in touch with every student whom they teach. Because of which there will be a friendly nature between students and faculty.
