The computer science department at FISAT is the best. The course is completed on time, and you can do your projects there with the best assistance from CS faculties.
There is no stipend, but for financially backward students, they offer free-of-cost study. The very good and important thing is that the Computer Science department is the best in FISAT.

Dislikes

Girls are locked in like in a jail because they have no right to leave after 5pm.
Overall, the campus is bad because it provides limited opportunities for students, and the conducted training is of low quality.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards the placement procedure starts. And a lot of opportunities are given by several companies in our college. The major companies that come to recruitment are TCS, UST Global, Wipro, Quest Global, QBurst, Tech Mahindra, People 10, etc.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start from the third year. There are several companies visiting for the recruitment process including Wipro and TCS. Most of the students opt for the campus placement but some don't as they're looking to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

This is a very nice college. Its been a pleasure for me to spend my college life here. Here both academics and fun are balanced. We can enjoy our college life without spoiling our future. The only downside of this college is inadequate canteen facility. This is not a big bother since there are many great restourants near the college.

Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) is affiliated under the Kerala Technological University (KTU). The institute is a private, self financing engineering college offering engineering and management programs. Admission is done on the basis of various accepted exams like KEAM, CAT, CMAT, KMAT, GATE and JEE Main.

Admission Requirements

A student should at least have 50% in their 10+2 qualifying exams (for B.Tech) and 60% in graduation (for M.Tech).
The application fee ranges from INR 350 to INR 750 based on the course of your choice.
For MBA students after their selection through CAT scores will be followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For MCA, students must have Mathematics in their Bachelor’s Degree.
Students who secure ranks up to 3000 are admitted through Government Quota.
