Yes I have both good and bad remarks. In good I can say college provides many skillful teachers, regular classes, good interaction, good placement management. In bad I can say college have to take care of boys hostel and mess facility. Mess quality is very poor in hostels.

Placement Experience:
It has a good placement record in the Indian core sector, TATA (4-5 companies), Aditya Birla group, Jindal steels and power both IRL, HUL, to name a few. With the instalment of the new IT cell, the college was visited by many IT firms, like TCS, Wipro, ZS Associates, Aviara, Samsung etc. This year there were many CS, IT students with multiple placements. Along with many coaching institutes, it is visited by many firms with the profile for business associates.

The college is having moderate infrastructure which is being worked on continously for the last few years. It also has a very peaceful environment making it a suitable place to focus on studies. The nearest big city is Dhanbad which is around 25 km away from the college and the connectivity is also good.

It's the sole government college in the state Jharkhand and there was no tuition fees incurred from girl child. Till 2016, the Entrance is from JCECE exam taken separately by the jharakhand govt But recently this college is included through JEE Mains and added 10% reservation from other states to diversified the culture.

good interactive seniors, cooperative faculty. Nice environment. Proper electricity availability.generator also provided in hostels. Classrooms having electric power supply backup. Good infrastructure. Campus amid greenery and no pollution.

They do very less to remove ragging. Literally everyday seniors call juniors to their hostel and make them do different things. Administration is very very poor and this year there was a lot of trouble in counseling process. I see my friend in poor college then this but they have better management.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.
- The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
- BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
- There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
- The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
- Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.
The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
