Remarks

They do very less to remove ragging. Literally everyday seniors call juniors to their hostel and make them do different things. Administration is very very poor and this year there was a lot of trouble in counseling process. I see my friend in poor college then this but they have better management.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is designed for betterment but lack of teaching experts and environment makes it difficult to study. Here they take 2 mid terms and then final which is good, but when it comes to practical it's very bad. Students who butter up the faculty gets higher marks.

Placement Experience

2

Placement is poor. Only one or two branch will land you to a decent job with decent package. Internship programs too are very bad and is you have good image or you are good at blabbering in front of placement cell incharge you will get a job.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its feasible. For general students its 51000 per year for OBCs its approx 33000 and for ST and SC its 21000. For girls it's very less and tuition fee is 32. There are various categories and fees are according to that. But overall it's a decent or cheap college to study.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't took any loan. Only for OBC or ST or SC category. For general category students there is no scholarship. Educational loan is easy to get.

Campus Life

3

Campus is good. You will get a lot of time to do extra things. Labs are good too. Gender ratio is poor will approx 10:2. Other activities are not that good and competition are sometimes 'fixed'. Ypu can play inside hostel by contributing your extra money to get stuffs like ball bat or anything. To play in ground you have to be in touch with 2nd year or seniors as juniors are not allowed to play or they will face ragging.

Hostel Facilities

3

I do have opted for hostel. The room are large but have 4 students in one room(in general) for 1st and 2nd year. But sometimes its 5 students in one room which is super congested. And in 3rd year its double bed which is very uncomfortable as the room was designed for single person but contains double and in final year we get single bed. The bathourooms are dirty they clean it once a week and it starts smelling. Superintendent do nothing about this other than say it will be done next month. No LAN wifi and electricity problem in summer. There is no generator facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumi network here is actually very strong. They all are well placed and in psu's but in recent years the network have become weak. Senior are helpful but only few of them rest all are focused in doing raging.

Admission

I gave jee main exam and filled forms for this college. As I wasn't getting any better college than this and this is a state level govt. College I took admission here and opted for metallurgy here. The admission process was worse lack of administration.

Faculty

3.5

Average. Every year a faculty will come to hostel before semester in and will ask for money as a fee for something spiritual. Waste of 250 rupees which for a student is important. Faculty will give question papers or important questions to selected students.
