Remarks

Being a government college, the management lacks the will for innovation and development.once it becomes autonomous things will be quite different..Hope what difficulties we have faced in our life our juniors wont face it...wish you success and happy life..

Entrance Preview

The simple reason for opting this college was its glorious past combined with its cheap fees structure and green campus opting for all around development and leadership qualities which a private college college can only claim on paper after robbing you with more than 10 lac rupees

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is one place where you will find it quite outdated with other reputed colleges. Its not been updated from quite a while and needs immediate revision.Although i am in final year of my college , the students of 1st year has seen a quite lot of changes

Internships Opportunities

Yes. there is a TAP cell working with the help of student coordinators selected by vote from among the final year students under the guidance of a proffessor. But you have to be in contact with our alumni in order to get a good internship because yhe college doesnt provide as such

Placement Experience

2

The placement and job opportunities are just average. If you are lucky you may land with a good job even with less marks and academic performance.Recommendation is quite huge in this college. If you are from a core branch you have very limited comapnies visiting your campus...To name a few are Hindalco,Usha martin,Matrix,Jindal, Bhushan Steel,Tata Power, Tata Cummings and TCS, WIPRO,Analytics quotient to name a few from IT sector...that visited in my final year till date..You need to rely mainly on GATE exam to enter a PSU

College Events

4

You will really enjoy your college live. The events are mainly of 1 types..one is the cultural fest celebrated in mid FEbruary where any celeberity is invited and where you can dance your soul out.The other being the technical fest performed by the technical clubs of our college such as Model Club, IEST..etc.Fresher of the year for 1sr year students are also organised which will be quite memorable one

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is the area where you can really boast yourself out...Its very feasible..just 20000 for a year which includes all your academic expenses..also you get a lot of scholarships under minority schmes run by state and central governments. No college will give a proffesional degree at such a cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

You will never feel of taking a scholarship due to its reasonable fees unless any financial problem..But there is eKalyan schmes for minorities and TFW schmes for all to help you get out of your college life flawlessly..

Campus Life

4

You will enjoy your stay within the college. The intake is around 750 per year which includes around 150 girls, so the gender ratio is less. The campus is spread around 400 acres and you will enjoy your nitings with friends. There are around 15 clubs working in college wchich will provide you all around development from spoerts to ebate to dancing to auto making...you name them and we have them in one form or the other.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hmmm..The hostel facilites were very poor when i steeped into the college back in 2015 as fresher..But things have proven considerably in final year..All the 26 hostels have been repaired and is no less than any private hostels..You get tiled floor and jacquar fittings in wathroom..Hard to belive that you just payed 5000 for one year..The mess food is average but you have the full control within your hands especially final year students...you can demand a maggi even at 12 am..no refusal...and eat chicken as much you desire..

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is strong since the college has been established in 1949.The sweetest thing about this college is the bonding between seniors and juniors..They may slap you for doing something wrong..you may call it ragging but at the end they are the ones wo are most helpful and will guide in every possible way.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is mainly descriptive type. You get to answer 5 questions out of 8 questions which is further divided into 2 sub parts of 7 marks each. In this way you get 70 marks.20 marks is reserved for mid sem while 10 marks is reserved for class tests and assignmnents as such..This takes the toll to 100.

Admission

The admission process is through JCECCE(Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations) which is quite competitive and one of the toughest state engineering exams to clear owing to the limited number of seats and catering to a large chunk of students mainly from bihar and jharkhand. It is held anywhere in the month of May and results ae declared in the month of june

Faculty

3

The faculty of our colleges are good and knowledegeable and many are Phds from old IITs.But owing to a government college they are quite lethargic in discharging their duties. Also there is huge derth of teachers and the student to faculty ratio is very poor. However i have seen many recuritement in our department in the last year of my life
